So I''m getting married in less than 4 months... eek!

After much conflict with my family about what type of dress I should wear (I was thinking fun and informal... they were thinking wedding gown) for my small outdoor Grand Canyon-y Nevada wedding, I finally went to some bridal shops this weekend and tried to find a compromise dress. While I know it is MY wedding, I''m very close to my fam (mom especially) and want them to think that I look beautiful too. Because of the time crunch, I pretty much need to decide THIS WEEK, or I''ll be going to custom route. So ladies... PRETTY PLEASE let me know what you think!

#.1 is closer to what I originally thought I would wear. I''m 4''11" and I don''t think I look right in long dresses. I love the sweetheart neckline on this one! This dress looks better in pictures than in real life.
#2. is beautiful and grown up... but unfortunately it is "ecru" (beige)... and I''m worried it''s not bridal enough and not right for the outdoor wedding.
#3. is definitely the most bridal/princessy... which isn''t what I thought I''d want, but it is a very pretty dress, prettier in real life than in pics... it has beading in the middle layer of tulle, which gives it a very delicate sparkle.
#4. is very grown up too, and I love it, but I don''t know if I love it enough for the extra $2K it costs.

Thanks all!!!!

I think #4 looks great on your frame.

Actually, I like the way you look better in the long dresses.

My vote is for #3! It looks stunning on you...definitely flatters your figure the most of all of them! I don''t think it''s too bridal/princessy either, it still looks casual enough.

I also like #3 - I think its a really classic and classy shape - something that you can look back on and still like, whereas I feel like #4 is a bit risque, and you might find it too revealing down the road when you look back at your pics.

I think you look gorgeous in all of them though, so its really up to you. Good luck and let us know what you decide

Definitely # 3- hands down!!! I know you said you are shorter/petite, but I think the longer dress actually makes you look taller, and it just fits you so nicely! #1 does nothing for me, and #4 is just too much, IMHO...

I absolutely LOVE #3 on you, and don''t think it looks princessy at all -- I think it looks elegant and classy, but not too formal. Let us know what you decide!

#3 is classic and elegant. I think it elongates your tiny frame.

First I looked at your pics, then I read your opinions of each dress, and then I read everyone else''s choices....and I still LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE #3!!!!!

I VERY MUCH LOVE number 3 on you!! It makes your figure look so perfect!

#3 hands-down! It''s BEAUTIFUL and very flattering on you!

Another vote for #3, you look beautiful in it and I think it makes you look taller. Being 5.0" myself, I think that''s important : )

I wish you well,

Bridget

I really like number 3 too! You look amazing in it!!

I have to agree - #3 is fabulous on you! I love it!

the back of number four looks fantastic, but I like the front of number three better on you.

The first two dresses don''t look like they fit quite right? I assume they aren''t fitted.

#3 looks beautiful on you. It fits and flatters your built. You look very tall in #3. It''s not princessy, but very classy, and sophicated.

I agree, #3 looks fabulous on you!

I have to agree with the general concensus - #3 is stunning on you. I understand about long gowns, being 5''0" myself - but I think the long dress elongates your figure - the uninterrupted lines are so flattering. And I think it is classy and sophisticated without being too fussy and "princessy" - it''s very elegant IMO. The shorter dresses... are okay but I think they are cutting you up & emphasizing your petite height. Also, while you wouldn''t want to go any shorter for a wedding dress, I try to avoid skirts and dresses that end about mid-calf because I feel like it emphasizes the widest part of my lower leg. Anyhow, just my 2 cents. You''ve done so well in only one day!!!

I like #1and #3- but it sounds like #1 is better suited for you and the wedding you have planned.

I''m fairly petite (5''4") and I don''t like long dresses on myself either as a general rule. But #3 is perfect on you. It really is. It makes you look so thin, sophisticated & elegant...and TALL.

I vote for #3. It''s beautiful and elegant - not princessy at all. And it just looks so stunning on you. It''s perfect for your figure!

Let us know what you decide.

#3, without a doubt. It''s perfect on you.

They are allll GORGEOUS..
I think that #3 is my fave.. but #4 is a VERY close second. You look fabulous in both of them.

Definitely #3!!! It is stunning on you.

Without a doubt # 3!!! I LOVE it!! It looks so beautiful on you!!

I''m with the rest, #3 is amazing! #4 is an awesome dress, but that price tag ain''t worth it. I happen to like #2 as well. I''m wearing ivory lace w/ ''mocha'' aka beige satin underneath- I just ordered it last week and my wedding is June 3rd! It''s not bright white, but fits well into a less formal affair. I think looking back you''d be glad you picked #3 over the others though. It just looks like it was made for you

without a doubt, number 3 is the best. You look stunning in it! It beats the other three choices hands down - I wish I''d come across it while I was looking. I don''t think it''s too formal at all for the type of ceremony you''re planning.

#3! #3! #3!

I t looks like it was made for your body! I agree with all of the above, it elongates you and is so elegant and classy. Very not princessy and i think is perfect for an outdoor wedding!

One vote for #3

I like #4 too but I still think #3 is perfect for your body :D

#3 looks amazing. It makes your figure look great, or actually your figure makes the dress loo great. Not 1 or 2. They don''t look like wedding dresses, and they cut you off. Tiffany
