And, on a personal note:
I want Vonzell off the show....if I have to see one more shot of her father in that ridiculous suit with the feather in his hat...

I voted Vonzell too. Aside from thinking that Carrie/Bo are more consistent, I have to concur about her dad--he looks like that famous SF pimp Don Juan Cornelius or whatever his name is!!!

I voted Carrie for the simple reason that her "target" audience may be all watching the American Country Music awards instead.

we adore Vonzell (and love her flamboyant family who are probably where she got her cheery personality from since they look like FUN!) but honestly she was off her game tonite in my opinion....I think she is fabulous with an amazing voice but tonite she seemed nervous and tight. I would not be shocked to see her go. Bo had amazing performances and Carrie held her own as well...

i hope we are wrong...in honor of her making the final three, we actually voted tonite for the first time ever! 10 times to be exact...for V of course! so i don't know if that will help at all (probably not?!) but it was fun to do it!

even if she gets voted off i hope she comes out with an album soon, we will definitely get it!

OK. I watched...but I was distracted making a late dinner. I think Randy tried to sabotage carrie by making her sing that stupid shania twain song at the end LOL.... I think she's going home e/t she has the best voice...

Now peeps ... go easy on V. She was a bit nervous during the first performance and a few off key notes but IMO she really pulled it together with the last 2. Yea ... everytime they put the camera on her dad I''m waiting for one of those gold teeth to fall out.

At this point I don''t care who wins. They are all excellent and I''d buy a CD from each (as long as V''s dad isn''t on the cover! hehe).

Good to see you finally voted Mara! It''ll be interesting to see the results tonight.

I think Vonzell is going, although I really don''t think it matters at this point. The best three ended up in final three, and I think they will all end up with great careers in the music industry.

My daughter loves the show -- she''ll be 11 soon. I just got tickets to the live concert as a birthday gift. She''s going to freak!!

we thought it was funny that Clive pointed out that Vonzell needs to smile less!!

we love how she makes it all look like fun on stage, but yes on sad or soulful ballads, temper that smile V!!!

plus sometimes i think that when she smiles so largely, it actually affects her singing...aka maybe your mouth would be better pursed in an O than a U when sound is coming out! hehee.

anyway it was an interesting evening, i really thought that it was an amazing night with 3 top singers in the top 3...you could really hear them competing against each other now that everyone else is gone...and i hope V stays but i don''t know!! C and B''s fan bases seem VERY STRONG.

OK, I love Bo but did any one NOT get into his a-cappella performance last night? It made me cringe even though he didn''t hit any wrong notes. I dunno, it was just--odd IMO. My DH kept hoping he''d pick Greg Allman''s "I''m No Angel" to sing.

I love watching Vonzell sing, she''s so cute!

My first thought when I heard that Carrie had to sing that Shania Twain song was --bleech!! c''mon Randy pick something better. I thought she did a great job with it thought.

It''s such a tough call to pick a winner--they''re all so good.

The final three are all completely different from one another. It is so hard to put any one of them first, second, or third. Each of them is extremely talented.

We thought Bo''s a-capella performance took an enormous amount of guts. Not that I loved the song, but I give him credit for being original and so sure of himself -- even at this stage of the game! We''ll be on the edge of the sofa tonight!!!!!

Poor Vonzell was given a really tough song to sing for her first one. It was a bit of a mess, but didn''t her dress just rock? I''m sure she''ll go next week.

I was also concerned about Bo''s acapella #. I was sure he''d get reamed by Simon for showing off. But Simon was taking his happy pills last night, wasn''t he? I feel like such a girl when it comes to Bo. I find him immensely attractive despite so many "eeew" things about him. Let''s start with the hair. How freakin cute would he be if he just got his hair cut? I thought Satisfaction was such a dull and uninteresting piece of fluff, as Simon put it. And I agree with whoever suggested the Allman Bros. for him. When he sang Whipping Post I...well, let''s just say it''s a good thing I was home alone.

For the first time I agreed almost 100% with Simon, who I usually think is an arrogant (fill in the blank). I thought Vonzell did hit some flat notes in the middle of her first song and Simon caught it. She rocked the rest of them though, she is just such a cute person. I also thought Carrie screeched Air Supply and he called her on that too. It was so painful to listen to. And Carrie bombed the last one. I think she was probably nervous, but it still confirms my belief from day one that she needs to go! Bo just kicked butt last night. He doesnt have a ton of range like some of his critics say but for the type of genre he does, who needs range? lol

Paula has NO originality either. Did you ever notice how she ALWAYS says the same thing as Randy Jackson? Almost always! Simon''s comments are usually pretty funny and he says what all of us back home are thinking!

My prediction is that the winner will be a male.

That said, I love all three of them, I think their talents have earned them a spot in the top 3. But it is crunch time and the fine lines will need to be drawn and the overall talent of each in all areas (singing, performing, presentation) will shine through. As beautiful and strong a performer I think that Vonzell is, I think Bo has her beat in all areas. Carrie has a great voice but needs a little more work in the performing and presentation category. Love em all, I''d hate to see any of them go but my prediction is that Carrie is going home tonight.

In my opinion, its Bo's competition to lose. From what C. Davis said to how American Idol has featured him and basically rolled out the red carpet the stage has already been set for Bo to win. I really like Vonzel, but I knew that she was going hom last night. Although, my wife still thinks that Carrie is going to win simply because she's a hot blonde. I doubt it though. More people are into rock & soul than they are country. The last show will be interesting. I'll be shocked if Bo loses....That aucapella performance made him the next Idol....

Too funny. Yes Bo kicks @$$ at what he does and he has some huge cajones to do the accapella. Didn''t you think that was the bomb when he went home AND THE REMAINING MEMBERS OF LYNYRD SKYNRD WAS WAITING FOR HIM TO JAM WITH?!?!?!?! You know Bo was on cloud 9!
