Are they any disadvantages to Super Ideal Cut Diamonds?

Hi, so you are saying that black arrows as shown on website are not must and doesn’t mean that the stone will produce max fire?

For example below two images are both eye-clean and gia 3x. My understanding is that the one with full dark arrows will always be better than the other one. Is that correct?

You do not see the black arrows in real life... the stone does not have them the way you see them in the pictures. When I take my pics, I make sure my phone cover is black (for the arrows to pop-up) and under a light-controlled environment. Also, the black arrows are mostly visible only under a lens of some kind (phone camera in my case) not easily observed with naked eye - with naked eye, you see the arrows to be silver to darker silver in color.

That second stone is poorly cut with lots of leakage.

That second stone doesn’t show black arrows because it’s poorly cut. If you provide the GIA report we will see it doesn’t have recommended proportions and as such you are getting this effect. It’s leaking like a sieve, lol.

The first stone appears to have some issues as well but they aren’t as obvious.

Edited to add:
To be clear, the arrows appear so dark in photos because it’s picking up obstruction from the camera. While you will see arrows form naturally they won’t be so strong. I think the WF brilliance videos do a good job illustrating this. While a lab grown H&A it still shows what I mean.
