Nice stone Mochi - what a sparkler!!

I''m not crazy about it in the LOGR though (don''t kill me

). I think that LOGR was really meant for a cushion, and I think an asscher just looks a bit awkward in there. I think Lauren had the same mounting and tried to put an asscher aqua in there, and it really didn''t work. I actually think a large round stone would work better in that mount if you can''t find a cushion.
LOL!! I think I''m just getting tired of waiting for that 8x8 cushion... If I knew that it was going to take this long, I don''t know if I would have purchased that setting. Patience is not one of my strong traits, unfortunately...

TL, what kind of setting would you recommend for Mochi??? Do they have settings specifically for Asschers at LOGR???

This is my second asscher from Gene. He does such a awsome job with asschers but he said it a pain in the neck to cut!LOL!!

It is perfect!

This one would fit an asscher, but I don''t know if it''s Mochi''s style.

I agree - there is a tiny gap where the setting curves out while the stone has straight sides.
Oh, yes, I see that now. That does look rather pudgy..

Wow Mochi is that ever a keeper - it''s beautiful. I bet you are over the moon with it. I think zircons are a very worthwhile stone. I saw a suite of ovals last year that just blew me away, so sparkly.

I think I''ve got to put a zircon asscher on my wish list now. I know what you mean though about it being deep. Out of interest what is the depth mm of your stone?

I think Leon''s r986 would be perfect for this. I''d love to know if someone like stuller or adwar has a stock setting that''s similar.

Keep us posted now!

Don''t feel bad Mochi, I didn''t see it either. I was too busy gazing at your beautiful stone.

ME TOO!!!! I mean, if it's doing THAT inside, it'll be a ball of fire outside!!!!

Ooh, I really like this stone! It should be set in something special that showcases it for sure!

Wow, a beautiful stone!

But I''m clueless about how to set it, cause you have to keep in mind that a setting should protect the stone as much as possible, cause it can chip more easily than some other stones, but I''m not sure it would survive the process of bezel setting, for the same reason. Maybe a raised halo (the one that sits as high as the stone) would be best.

Gorgeous! I live the shots where you can see the color play. What a lovely, lively stone!

What a sparkler! I think zircons are so underated! I would love to see more of them. They really can sparkle with such a high refractive index! It is beautiful Mochi.... and honestly, I don''t think it looks that bad in that setting. Maybe adding yellow gold prongs will make the difference. I understand being impatient.... that zircon needs to be adorned, however, I also like the setting that TL posted. More pics!!

Mochi-it''s gorgeous!

I love zircons and that is such a pretty stone. Zircons can survive the bezeling process; I have one.

So sad.. no sun today but I took a few pictures anyway.
