Very pretty! Oops never mind, I reread the post. 5.9mm is good for your tiny fingers. Whats the plan on setting it?
My spinel is a color changer like yours and it's in rose gold. I love it. It would probably look great in yellow gold too. I have another color changer cushion that color, and I ordered an 18K YG legacy LOGR for it, and it looked awesome in there. Unfortunatley, I had to return the setting because the non-upgraded diamonds were not that great, unlike my other SI diamond LOGR legacies.Date: 3/13/2010 5:30:15 PM

I had originally thought of putting in in rose gold to make a set with my tanzanite since it also is a strong blue in daylight, and changes to slightly violet tone when indoors. But the spinel's color change is much more pronounced.
It''s been nothing but rain here for the past week!Date: 3/14/2010 10:04:46 AM

Sigh...more rain today.. I''m tempted to take this spinel to Florida with me so that I can see it in some sunlight! Yeesh, the weather has been just horrid this winter.
That''s a beautiful shot, I love that color. Both you and Freke are lucky ladies!Date: 3/14/2010 5:08:37 PM
