BB amethyst pair, set into earrings

Hi everyone, these are a small pair of Barry Bridgestock amethysts - they are bead-set into leverback earrings. I know some other members have Barry amethysts, so I wanted to share a photo of them now that they are set

I will try to get an earshot tomorrow (although the last time I got a closeup of my ear I had to go lie down to recover from the sight of the wrinkles I ordinarily don''t see - tough angle!

) I am still living in HK so the jeweler here made the settings for me, tweaked to combine elements from this pair I had admired last year (I think from 23rd Street Jewelers) . . .

. . . except I didn''t like the prong settings, I wanted something more invisibly set like this pair I had seen from Ippolita (except I wanted them bling-ier). So, it was nice to be able to sit with someone and be able to say ''more here, less here, shorter'' etc. Thanks again for the nice words, I sent the photo to Barry too so he could see them in their final home.
