That Singlestone piece is a beauty, DS! And Polished - I like the idea of removing the extraneous detail also. I agree with DS that you'll need to re-cast, and when I spoke about modifying, I did mean re-doing the ring in total; I'm sorry I wasn't more clear. I think you can't lose with the designs you're considering at this point, and it will put your gorgeous stone front and center!
