Zeitwerk is cool...but too $$
Lange 1 best options....
As for features: Rose or white gold....likes deployment strap but not essential. LIke the moonphase but not essential.
New is great but gently used with boxes and papers would suffice.

European watch nice site, but not much room to move on price.
Anyone kow anything about R Paladin Timepieces?
Would anyone here buy discontinued model of a Lange? How about buying from a European dealer...many on timezone, watchnet..

i bought a Lange 1 RG from him about 12 yrs ago. he is a reputable seller,but if he say "NIB" be sure it is new in a box. what is the discontinued model that you are considering?

humm...i am not sure if the black dial is discontinued or not. i don't have their latest catalog. the Ref # is 101.031, maybe you can call up an AD and ask them.

Yes, I wondered about the color of the dial being D/C'd as the watch is still in production.

I just got the traditional jeweler catalog with 2 pages of gorgeous lange watches. Can't wait to see what you end up with...
