Calling all bezels!

Here is a pendant I just had made by Eve Jewelry in Chicago. It is a silvery carved moonface made from moonstone and a oval .83 carat E VS1 diamond from an old engagement ring, with white gold bezels on both. I read about Eve Jewelry on Pricescope. I don''t recall who mentioned them but their work is lovely.

Thank you MrsV and MC! There is a ridiculous story surrounding the acquisition of that stone. Thankfully I am pleased with it!

Your ruby is yummie! I love the color! I have never seen one so vibrantly red. Would you mind saying where you got it? It''s my birthstone so I always wanted one but the ones I''ve seen have always looked a bit pink, not a rich red like I would like.

It was sourced for me by Van Craeynest; they also made the setting for it. I have lovingly deemed this stone my "Alligator Head" ruby...you can read about it here .

Larry Van Craeynest is a sweetheart and I've purchased several things from him. I requested a small, very red ruby - I didn't want any pink or brownish tones. When he found the stone he commented it was the finest, reddest ruby he had seen. It's small (4.2mm) but bigger than I originally envisioned. It's also very clear...sadly, before this stone I didn't know rubies could sparkle so much.

I too am a bezel lover, so easy to wear and no prongs to worry about snagging

My VLP 1.02ct pear set in rose gold, with .49ctw kite cuts set into a platinum shank.

I''ll start. Here''s my Marc Williams ''Santa Anna,'' holding my first diamond, a .33ct rb, K SI2, 14K yellow gold. I''m thinking of having it sized for my right pinky, as dh recently gave me a .88rb to wear with my wedding band.

Thanks for the info! Now I won''t give up hope of finding a gorgeous ruby! I thought I would have to settle for a garnet or spinel!
