Calling all the Pregnant PS''ers

JANINE--i must have been posting at the same time as you--CONGRATS!!! Welcome aboard.

Curly--I almost forgot about my Red Raspberry leaf tea--i am going to brew some this week--thanks for reminding me

Litchick--actually wishing i could be at work a bit longer, but it''s march break as of this friday so i can''t come to work even if i wanted to--kudos to you for hanging in there till the day of! That is cutting it close
9.gif
. At least i can talk to you ladies while i am pacing around at home--ha, you''ll be sick of me by the end of march!!

Thanks everyone!! It feels so nice to share and feel the joy instead of worrying and venting to DH only
emwink.gif

Curlygirl~ Thank you for your sweet posts!! Really, I wanted to tell you so badly, especially when I saw your EDD! Mine has jumped around from Sept 26-29 in between FF and the u/s and my own estimation, so we''re very close! I have been a big time worrier the first few weeks, so thank you for offering to hold my hand!! It''s nice knowing someoene else going through the same experience in the City(and also been through it before!). I''ll be taking you up on a lot of your advice and referrals for sure. And it''d be fun to meet up too! (do you work or are you SAHM?).
We''re actually debating moving to the ''burbs when the time comes (or as soon as is feasible) since our apt is too small for a baby, but it''s kind of a scary thought since I''ve only lived in cities. So we''ll take a look around and see how it looks. If it''s too much at once, we might rent a bigger place as a transitional phase. So much to think about but it''s fun!!
I have a 2nd dr''s visit next Monday and NT testing in about 10 days, so alot of big stuff coming up. The only reason I''m feeling somewhat secure now is I caved and bought a pocket doppler and found the hb, so that made me feel a bit better.

Oh, and I''ve been feeling fine..which of course worries me!(haha). I''ve had no m/s, and no major symptoms. Maybe one or 2 bouts of nausea, and freqent peeing but nothing that couldn''t be blamed on something else! I do have the exhaustion though..fall asleep whenever I lay down. So basically I''m a big loaf most of the time!! Looking forward to being here and learning more about everyone!

Thanks curly, some days are funnier than others.

One NOT funny thing was that when I pulled on a pair of jeans this morning and tried to zip it up, the button POPPED off. I mean really, no transition period here? No, hmmm, these are getting tight? Nope. Apparently one day they fit, the next I''m BREAKING them.

Don''t worry -- I have had zero symptoms other than exhaustion. And making button fly off my pants.

Congrats janine! How exciting! I'm looking forward to sharing this experience with you! Don't worry about not feeling any symptoms. Consider yourself lucky.

Jas, I'm glad you're feeling better! I love your sense of humor. Have you started taking belly pics?

Ha. We took them twice. I got depressed because it seems we need a wide angle lens. Already.

We take them on Wednesdays, so I''ll post them on Wednesday; however, I am already going to claim bad lighting and eating too much pasta right before.

How are you doing?

Janine, congrats!!!! Welcome aboard!

Diva, you look great. I am only 5''1" so I totally understand how gaining a little weight makes us feel HUGE! My belly was in its own zip code but a healthy baby came out so it is ALL worth it!

Lili & MrsS, I will engrave her name and *maybe* her birthdate. I need to decide if I want the profile engraved or the sizing bar. The sizing bar is only 4 mm though (ring is 1.7 mm wide) so I don''t know how many characters will fit.

MrsS, how wide were those rings you posted? I can''t believe mine is so thin.

Jackie, they are good aren''t they!
18.gif
Love me some cakesters.

So I ordered the Roundabout. I figured might as well and after some research figured that would be the best for *me*. After all my inlaws neighbor''s little girl is 39 lbs and in first grade so I didn''t see the need to get one that holds up to 65 lbs.

Started reading "healthy sleep habits for a happy child" (think that is the name) and we are basically doing EVERYTHING wrong
15.gif
Sleep.....I miss sleep....

The monster is 4 months today and I am putting her in her nursery. It is time!

hi ladies...i''m loving all the first trimester mommies posting on here. I remember those early days when you start outgrowing your clothes. i''m'' a 3rd trimester mommy who is now outgrowing the maternity clothes that i have
23.gif
. i''ve only got a few weeks left and am just not going to buy anything else for a preggo me so someone may get an unwanted preggo belly glimpse from time to time.

my shower was just great. Jake got so much stuff, i was shocked b/c there were only 12 people there, my family and closest friends was it. they hooked him up though. I did get some of the pottery barn bedding I''ve been wanting so once i get it all up i''ll post a picture of his room. oh and I LOVE the carseat and stroller...i''m so excited and just can''t way for the little guy to get her so I can use it.

tacori- i didn''t ask the mm of the bands but my guess is they are about the same size as yours 1.7-2mm. i''d be getting 3 so the thinness wouldn''t bother me. but that project is on hold for the time being
39.gif
.

jas12, lili, tgal( you still owe us a picture) how are you all doing???

Congrats Janine!!! That''s so exciting, best wishes for a smooth pregnancy!!

Jas, can''t wait to see a belly shot. You''re carrying two little ones in there so I''m sure you''ll start showing early. Isn''t that exciting? I can''t wait to show and tell everyone the good news! People keep asking me when it''s my turn and it''s hard to keep the pregnancy a secret! We''ve taken two pictures too. I wanted to start early. I think I have pooch already or I''m very bloated! I am feeling okay. I am really tired and I have nausea on and off. All I did this weekend was eat, sleep, lay on the couch, and exercise. It was relaxing.

Our friends who just had a baby last October invited us to go snowshoeing this weekend. Even though I can''t go boarding or skiing this year, I want to enjoy the snow so this will be a good opportunity. I hope I have enough energy.

Wow, what a flurry of new mommies to be on this thread!!!! Get posting those early belly shots ladies. You will be amazed at how much you''ll change, it''s fun to look back on the growth (i just looked at my 23 week shot and remember thinking at the time that i was getting huge--haha--now at 37 weeks huge is actually accurate)
.............
MrsS. that''s wonderful that you got so much stuff for little Jake. Post nursery pics for us ! I found out my family is having a surprise mini-shower for me this thursday (ya, not much of a surprise but my mom had to tell me cuz she knows i have a bunch of stuff going on after work this week) --i knew i wouldn''t get away with no celebration at all, but this will be a small gathering at a restaurant-- we are still planning on having a ''welcome shower'' maybe in late april.
I am feeling okay--like you i''ve just about outgrown all my mat clothing (i have 3 pair of pants that kinda fit so iam happy to be finished work this week) and my bras are getting tighter.
i am feeling hot and thirsty alll the time--guess that is normal?
I had a freaky birth dream last night--i must be getting increasingly anxious--it involved birthing an animal in a barn and the dr. pulling on the cord b/c my contractions had stopped and they needed to get the placenta out--the placenta was a heart--ewww, someone analyse that one for me
40.gif

.....................

Bobo--if you are out there still reading PS I am wondering how things went with the birth? I am sure PS is not high on your list of priorities, but if you do read every once in while let us know how you are doing. And we would LUV to see pics of the new bambino

I'm finally checking in. I've been so restless, worrying about starting my new position today. It didn't turn out the way I wanted since I was assigned to an unit I don't want to be in. I hate the fact that personnel doesn't know which unit is assigned to you. I don't think I would've accepted the position if I've known. I have to talk to my new supervisor tomorrow because I can't perform the heavy duty work. Have to see if they can work me in with paperwork or light duty or something. It's kind of stressing me out.

On the happy note, I will be getting my BIG u/s this Fri. We are excited.

I just scan through the posts.

Jen & Janine - CONGRATULATIONS!!! Wishing you an easy and healthy pregnancy.

Divadiamond - You got such a cute belly.

hello ladies!!! Ive been out of the scene for a while now, but just had to pop in to see how my buddies over here are doing :)

congratulations to all the new mommies!! hope u have a safe and healthy pregnancy...

I have been in the process of packing/moving to my new house (final move will happen this saturday!! yayyyy!! im soooooooooooooo excited!!!...finally OUR home..no rentals!!).....second i quit my job!! yes i did...i couldn''t handle it anymore...no gratitude and no respect...anyhow, thats a whole different thread on its own (im having problems with my last working day ''date''....long story, their being stubborn, and im being stubborn!)

Tacori - you will love the Roundabout. That is what I have as well, and Miller is a big boy (over 30 lbs already and only 21 months old). I think it is a great seat.

As for the "health sleep habit happy child" book, a friend bought it for me, I read it, and I don''t know what I was supposed to be doing when I was finished reading it! I didn''t find it very "user friendly", but that was just me. I personally preferred Elizabeth Pantley''s books (No Cry Sleep Solution) and Dr. Sears'' (The Baby Book and others). But that''s just me (we all know my attachment parenting leanings....
17.gif
). I hope to find a solution that works for you and Tessa. Trust me, it will come. Miller woke about 4 times a night until he was 10 months old. He just was a high need boy. At about 10 months, he tapered off to once a night, and since about 15 months, he sleeps through. I did nothing "special", we had no program. I just think he was ready. Good luck, and sweet dreams!!!

There are so many new preggo''s!! Congrats to you all!

Any other post-partum mommies with a significant iron deficiency? I am 21 months after birth, and I am still deficient. I take supplements, but I can''t bring myself to eat very much. Any tips? Ideas? (Stupid baby taking all my freakin'' iron!!!).

Congrats Janine!!!
36.gif
This is so exciting having all the new "freshman" now that so many "seniors" are nearing graduation!! Whoo hooo!!!

Tacori, I have HSHHC and can't get into it at all. I'm with LitChick here -- I feel clueless as to what I'm actually supposed to DO! I need a book that says, Do x and your kid will sleep -- and that book ain't it. I was told to read "12 Hours Sleep in 12 Weeks" by another twins mom who swears by that book, so I'm passing that recommendation on. Our guys BOTH slept 9 hours last night, so we must be doing something right!! Have you tried clusterfeeding or a dream feed? Are you sure that every time Tessa wakes at night that she really is hungry and not just waking to fuss a bit but then would go back to sleep?

LitChick, forgot to say that the name Miller is really cute! Though I already can envision the dorm room with the big neon Miller beer sign
2.gif

Oh, and I AM "Ella the cow" now!! I mean, my milk supply is still nothing like what it should be for a nursing mom, but it totally totally increased in the past week!! MsF, I really recommend the barley water -- I think that's what did it for me. Buy pearl barley, and simmer 1 cup of it in 12 cups of water (3 quarts) for about 2 hours. Then drain the barley out, and drink the water like a tea -- heat it, and you can even sweeten it if you like. I also steep fennel seed and dill seed in it to give it a bit more flavor and to save me the extra step of drinking the fennel/dill tea separately. More info here: http://organicpassion.info/barley-water-to-increase-breastmilk-supply/

I love that this thread basically has a subthread on Cakesters -- def. a preggo thread for sure!

Janine,
Congratulations!!
36.gif
How exciting! You definitely shouldn''t worry about not having many symptoms. If that continues, be grateful b/c some of the symptoms aren''t all that pleasant. I had morning sickness for months so I would''ve gladly not experienced that!
I hope this time in your life is a very happy one, and I''m happy for you!

janine, I''m a working mother. There is no way we could afford to live here on one income and to be honest with you, I''m not sure I am cut out to be a SAHM! It''s HARD work!!! Lily is in daycare which coincidentally happens to be in my office building so it''s a great set up. When #2 comes around, we''ll have to re-evalulate the situation because the daycare doesn''t give a sibling discount and it''s ridiculously expensive.
33.gif
I''m so saddened by that but I''m thinking that maybe we''ll get my MIL to watch the new baby since she''s retiring in January anyway and has offered her services. And I''ll just keep Lily in daycare because I can''t imagine keeping a toddler cooped up at home all day.

We are planning to stay in the City as long as we possibly can. I know it''s somewhat tempting to move to the suburbs and have a house and space, etc. but I urge you to give it a lot of thought. We LOVE having a City baby. It is amazing. There is so much to do, right at your fingertips. It''s so easy to get around and it''s fun! And when you''re home on maternity leave, you will love the ability to just throw the baby in the stroller and run out to Starbucks or to the park or even just to walk around the block. It''s much easier than getting into a car only to drive to a mall so you can take a walk. Not that there''s anything wrong with that but there is definitely a sense of ease and freedom when you don''t have to deal with a car, carseat, parking, etc. Not to mention the commuting. This is why we are holding out as long as we can. Yes, we are in a one bedroom apartment with one baby and another one on the way but we''re just going to try to make it work. They don''t need a lot of room or stuff when they are little so we''re going to try to hang on for a bit longer. Our silver lining is that we own our place and we fully renovated it so we know that we''re sitting on a gold mine when the time comes to sell and head out to the burbs--or maybe Brooklyn!

Anyway, just my 2 cents. You and your DH will have to weigh all the options and figure out what''s best for you. In the meantime, drink lots of water, eat well, get lots of rest and think positive thoughts!!! I have my NT scan on 3/14--I''ll bet you and I are going to have all of our appointments at the same time!!!!

jackiejas, I can''t wait to see your belly pics!!! I did one at 5 weeks just to show the "before" photo and haven''t done one since. But I love twin bellies!! I''ll be stalking this thread on Wednesdays to look for you!

mrssalvo, so glad you had a nice shower with such generous friends and family. Jake is going to be one spoiled little boy, just as he should be!! Are the girls getting more excited?

Tacori, I also started reading HSHHC before I gave birth and read a bit after Lily arrived. Honestly, I agree with LitChick and ellaila. It was sooo hard to read and left me confused and annoyed. I''m also not an advocate of crying it out at all and I''m not that regimented so we pretty much came up with our own system for Lily and it seems to work--although just when you think you''ve figured it all out and they are sleeping through the night, something happens like teething or learning to crawl or walk and it throws everything off! It will all fall into place, just hang in there!

ella, it feels weird to be a freshman again! I guess I got left back or needed a refresher course!!! I''m sitting here analyzing all my symptoms/feelings because I''m DYING to know if it''s a boy or girl since I didn''t do any of my gender swaying this time! We need some new pictures of the twins! I can''t believe they are sleeping for 9 hours, that''s amazing!!!!!

You guys are right. It is confusing! I also wish it was a more step by step but it did give me some insight. Like the brain not to stomach wakes her. So last night was her FIRST night in her crib!
36.gif
DH fed her a 5 oz bottle at midnight and we put her down by one and she went RIGHT to sleep. No crying or anything! I was shocked. Woke up at 4 am and I nursed. Nursed again at 7 am. Screamed at 8:30 am (her leg got stuck in the side!!!!
6.gif
38.gif
) then woke up for the day at 9:30 am. I am trying to *force* her to nap right now. She feel asleep while nursing so I figured she MUST be tired. Well she slept for 10 mins and is not crying. Not sure how long I am suppose to let her cry. I am so CONFUSED but do think she is generally overtired. She has breakdowns where she cannot soothe herself to sleep (rubbing eyes, fussy, crying). The book says put her down before she gets to that stage! Help! Ella what does your "12 hour book" say?

BTW Tessa had her first giggle attack yesterday. It was the most wonderful noise I have EVER heard. She laughed out loud for several minutes. Not sure what was so funny but it was AMAZING! Before that she only did short giggles. This was LAUGHTER! Also this morning I had her on her back in the nursery (I was trying to organize things) and there was a toy just out of reach and she ALMOST rolled over. SOOOO close but at the last minute she rolled back onto her back.

I had a rough day yesterday so her giggle fest helped. I just have more work to do then I have had since she was born (I work part-time from home) and was frustrated b/c how can I get anything done with a baby who doesn''t nap, cries, etc...and DH is no help sometimes! I went over to my neighbors last night to vent (and drink a glass of wine!) Turns out it is not his fault. He is just a man.
20.gif

MrsS, glad you had a great shower! Jake is ALMOST here!!!!

Hello ladies!

Our guest is still in town, so I have been busy playing hostess. Forgive my absence! He leaves on Thursday so I am going to get everything done then, including the belly shot, I PROMISE!!

Janinegirly, a BIG congrats to you gal! Look forward to going through your pregnancy with you.

Tacori, I don''t believe that I will be an attachment parent (however we will see), but I do agree that HSHHC is a HORRIBLY written book. Repetitive, with a lot of "theory". I got it because a few of my friends very successfully sleeptrained their kids with it (5 children in total sleeping through the night with great habits at 4 months). I have also read reviews on it and the majority of people who read it prior to the arrival of the baby seemed to have luck with it. I don''t know how great it would be to read it AFTER the baby arrives...except that it would put ME to sleep.

Sears may be a book to look into, or Ferber. Pantley''s book is popular, but I do not have the patience for it. The reviews also seemed to say that while gentler, it didn''t work for as many people. I am still going to try HSHHC so I will let you know how it goes...I have a fair idea of how to implement it, but I don''t have a kid yet, so that really means I have no idea in actuality.
9.gif

Regarding my "TMI story...well, I guess it''s not that bad. We DTD on our anniversary trip last October (no, that wasn''t the LAST time we did it, thank god) and TGuy was on top on his arms. I said he could lay down on me and he shook his head vigorously no. I said, really, I''m fine. More vigorous head shaking with eyes tightly closed. All this while the action was going on. He looked so panicked at the thought of squashing the baby that it didn''t seem like he was enjoying sex...and of course I had to laugh which made the whole thing probably look weirder.

lili, trust me...you could afford to gain another 40 pounds.
2.gif

snlee, I am surprised too that you got an external! I was ripped off! Hehehe. Glad everything looks great with your bean.

Diva, you are yet another small little preggo. You look great!

Jackie, glad you are feeling better from the flu. Not a fun thing to get while you are preggo..

Jas, we are full term this week!!!! March is our month baby!!!!!!!!!!!!

More later..........

Ooh, Mrs S, meant to say glad you had a great shower. Your line about being excited to use the stroller cracked me up a bit...you''re still excited at this stuff even though this is your third? I say that because last night I was at my friend''s and she asked me if I had this and that ready. My answer was no, no and no. I just shrugged and said, "The kid is coming home to diapers, a place to sleep and a couple of boobs. It''ll be fine." She just looked at me and said, "You talk like a second time mom...you just don''t sound like a first time one." I took it as a compliment!

Just stopping in to say hi to everyone and CONGRATS Janine!! I didn''t go to my first dr. appt. yesterday b/c my 7 yr old was home sick, so I''m hoping I can reschedule it so that I can get an early u/s and see a h/b. I''ll feel better then (the worry doesn''t go away on your 4th kid, btw!)

Hope you all are having a wonderful day :)

This thread moves so fast, so sorry if I miss anyone!

curly~congrats on number 2!! Lilly is such a doll!

sk8rjen~ Congrats!!

janinegirly~congrats!

mrs mitchell~hope your little on flips...you still have time.

jackie jas~glad you're feeling better from the flu. It's been going around here too....yuck! Oh, and the bella band is such a great invention!!!

mrss~glad you had a great shower!

jas12~you're in the home stretch...I found that when I was home before I had my baby (it was our quarter break from school so I had no choice either) I somehow found plenty to do. Nesting mode kicked into full force...I think I scrubbed the kitchen floor every day! One thing I'm glad I did was stock up on a bunch of necessities for around the house, like toilet paper, paper towels, ect. You won't want to deal with sending DH out to pick it up (and my DH wouldn't know where to go to get some of that stuff!) And, you have PS.
2.gif

ella~congrats on an increase in your milk supply!! That's great that some of your hard work has paid off!

As for sleep training....those books confuse me. I think some of it is just luck sometimes! Tacori: Does Tessa wake up in the night screaming or just fussing? Have you tried letting her fuss a little just to see if she goes back to sleep on her own? Also, have you tried giving her another ounce or so in her bottle you give her before bed? Maybe if she ate more she wouldn't get hungry so soon? Tayva is 6 weeks and she typically will eat 5 ounces before bed...sometimes 6. Tayva and Tessa weigh close to the same I think.

Happy Tuesday, all.

Boy, am I Mrs. Cranky (Fat)Pants this morning. Grrr. DH and I went to see The Barber of Seville last night (it was awesome, by the way). By hour 2.5, my hips were hurting something fierce, but I was actually ok with that.

What was problematic was lady #1 to my right who had some serious BO issues. Whether it''s due to medication (likely) or the fact that she hadn''t showered since the Nixon Administration (somewhat less likely) is unknown.

Also problematic was that Lady #2 in front of me (who had to be 55-60 and wearing plastic kiddie barrettes in her hair and a shabby jersey hoodie over her pretty dress...I guess to make some point about being non-conformist? She was nothing but a bundle of LOUD complaints during intermission...I think she''s one of those people who find everything ironic and frustrating) Anyway, SHE seemed to have BATHED herself in one of the more berrylicious body lotions from Bath and Body Works. I mean, seriously, not subtle.

And I''m a fragrance lover. But this was some nasty stuff.

Pregnancy Sniffer Strikes.

By the penultimate aria, I was about to pass out because it seemed I was getting attacked by the Stinkies, although I wasn''t nauseous because Lord knows my body loves to hold on to its food.) I whispered to DH during an applause break if he could smell it and he sort of hissed, "Yes," at me.

About 5 minutes before the end of the show I told him I had to leave or I was going to pass out. He was P**SED. And stayed that way. We went home and he was moping. I finally asked him why he was upset and he said that this was only his second opera and he wanted to stay to the end.

So there''s a little tension in the house right now.

This too shall pass.

mrssalvo -- I forgot to congratulate you on an awesome shower! Yea!
tacori -- those cakesters almost made me knock over an old man to get another helping. I just couldn''t allow myself to buy them because I''ve gained 8 or so pounds so far
6.gif
and I am so embarrassed and worried the stupid nurse is going to yell at me when I get weighed on Monday. But after that, it''s a free-for-all! I will send you and the family Mr. Sandman vibes for restful night-long sleep!
skippy -- I''ll pop over to WWT in case you don''t see this but HEY! Howareya? I am so NOT a cute preggo. I think I''m going to need my own zoning codes soon.
snlee -- yea pooch! I''m sure you are adorable.
jas12 -- if ya don''t mind, I won''t analyze your dream. But yes, you seem rather anxious! Your students must be dealing with some separation anxiety!
Hey MSB! Good to see you!
QT -- remind me, please, what you do again...I hope it goes well with your boss.
Curly -- we may have to wait on the pictures. I am totally bummed about my belly. That and I first have to remove DH''s head from his butt before he can take a good photo.

I know I missed some people, and I''m sorry...I really need to go make me some grilled cheese. (And then I wonder why I can''t fit in my pants. Cause and effect anyone?)

Tacori--a full out Tessa laugh!--ohhh, how sweet! It is a beautiful sound even when they are not your own, so i can just imagine what you felt!!! And congrats on getting thru the first crib night!!

Tgal--was wondering where you were. Yep, we are full-term, how amazing is that !? Crack out the Red Raspberry leaf tea and toast to that!
Your TMI story made me laugh--i''ve had a few of those mid-nooky convos with DH as well, (i must admit
41.gif
)

Jas--Ya, that dream was wacko--funny cuz i feel fairly relaxed during the day, but i think subconcious fears manifest in dreams--and apparently i am fearful of birthing an animal in a dirty barn
37.gif

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate nasal encounters. That is one pregnancy symptom i can''t complain about. I had sinus surgery years ago and lost about 95% of my smell--so pregnancy has actually been great b/c i can often get whiffs of wonderful things like coffee, bread, chocolate. BO and bad perfume is a nasty combo i am glad to do without.
Post those belly pics gal!!

good idea, i am going to stock up on necessitites next week. I think i may also assemble my wedding album--which i have been meaning to do since July! I may never get around to it if i don''t!

Curly--your description of city livin with baby is making me want to move--i wish i could just pop out and be close to so much going on...boo for living in a small town. Funny, cuz while i was in NYC i was thinking the same thing--how nice it would be to live downtown and have lots to do outside your door, parks, starbucks, library etc.!
.......................

Off to help interview teachers for my position--haha, i am gonna pick someone evil so they all beg to bring
me back

Wish i didn''t eat so much for lunch--i am stretching like crazy--so uncomfortable.

Okay, just got back from BRU and bought one of those mesh bumpers. No more stuck limbs hopefully!

TGal, I just need someone to tell me what to do!

My friend used Dr Weissbluth''s methods successfully which is why I read it...who knows! She is such a stinker and a really horrible napper. I basically break all the rules. She is sleeping in her car seat as we speak

LC, saw the roundabout in person at BRU. Love that I saved almost $60! If it is good enough for Miller, it is good enough for Tessa!

Jen, sorry your child is sick! Wow 4 kids. You are a brave, strong woman!!! I am so impressed.

Jackie, how funny! Those cakesters are awesome! But I am sticking to my promax bars these days. MUST. LOSE. WEIGHT. My neighbor told me she didn''t lose it all until she weened. To quote my SIL at least I got a cute baby out of it so I shouldn''t care so much!

I got *two* weight warnings....yeah....but I have lost almost 40 lbs in 4 months so it IS coming off with little to no effort (except maybe being too tired to eat).

Burk, how funny Tayva is he same size as Tessa since she is younger! I guess Tessa will be a little peanut like I was. Her 4 month appointment is coming up so I am hoping the doc will give the go ahead for rice, maybe that will help her sleep of course Dr W says it is the *brain* that wakes her not her *stomach*. Who knows.

***IT''S A SMALL WORLD.....my dad just e-mailed me. One of his residents today was my first boyfriend (in 4th grade)

How funny is that!!! He e-mailed me (through my dad''s address) and congratulated me on the baby. I haven''t seen him since 8th grade.

Curly, what worked for Lily? I am desperate here! Fatigue is starting to take its toll for sure.

Jas, her laugh made EVERYTHING worth it. Stretch marks, losing my hair, sore boobs, NOTHING else mattered. I called DH in but of course he missed it. She was having a grand old time. Laughing, squealing, kicking her legs up. I can't wait until she does it again!

Tacori - have you tried a grobag on Tessa? I found we had no more "stuck limbs" when we started using them. Miller still uses a grobag!!!

Okay, I am going to rant. Please do not be offended!

I hate the media, books, other mom (none on PS, of course), that make us feel like we are doing something wrong! Dear Tacori, you are not doing anything wrong by letting Tessa sleep in a car seat, or in your bed, or in a swing. Do what works. If you are happy and your dear giggling little girl is happy, it is working. Don''t make this silly Dr. Weisbluth make you feel like you are doing anything wrong. You are the only "expert" when it comes to Tessa. Listen to what is right for you.

Okay, I''m done.
