Calling all the Pregnant PS''ers

Good luck Mrssalvo!

Today''s the day - wishing you a swift, safe delivery and looking forward to ''meeting'' your little one!

I''ll be thinking about you.

We visited the midwife unit we booked for at the weekend, to meet staff and see the birthing pool rooms. I was reassured and I feel a lot less fearful about the whole deal. I''ve booked for a waterbirth. I have the perfect excuse now to splurge on an extra maternity tankini, since I''ll be in a pool, right? Only five weeks to my due date - it''s all starting to feel real now!

Jen

Ditto Mrs. M...Good luck, Mrs. S!

Yay! MrS, I hope it all goes wonderfully well! And quickly!!

I think every PSer should have a "real life" friend who can be texted with this sort of news, so we know all the sooner what''s going on. I guess a lot more meet ups need to be planned!!

How exciting, MrsS!!! I''ll be praying for you and your (growing) family today!!

Ohh this thread moves way too quickly for me to follow these days, and for some reason I''m not getting updates via email anymore

! To the newly pregnant pscopers, congrats, and to the ladies about to have your babies, good luck and best wishes for a safe delivery!

xoxo

P/S: Since button is one of the ''pregnant pscopers alumni'' babies, just a quick update - he''s 18+ mths old now and keeps me busy running after him, he can count to five, string a few words together, and actually sort of converse in sentences instead of grunts and moans. Button also points to babies on the street and tells us ''I WANT BABY!!!'' Does that mean he''s ready for a little brother or sister? Stay tuned

Best of luck, MrsS!!!! We will be eagerly waiting for the news of little Jake''s arrival!!!!

Just a lurker popping in to say congrats to T-Gal. MsS and hopefully lili! ALso to all the other nicely prgressing mommies! My SIL is coming up on her 23rd week already.

Mrs Mitchell- my friend had a natural water birth for her second and said it was so much easier to deal with. She said the bouancy of the water took strain off her back and pelvis; she was in a pool about four feet deep so she was standing for most of it. She''s with twins this time, due in July (I think) and she plans on doing the same thing. She and her husband are also Wiccan so before getting into the pool, he gave her tummy massage with amethyst crystals to give her strength.

Another lurker here just wanting to congratulate all the new mummies and mummies-to-be!! DH and I are nowhere near ready to TTC but I just love scrolling through this thread anyways! Everyone seems so full of joy and good health despite the lack of sleep

Bless you all!

Thanks, nytemist. I don''t know anyone irl who''s done this, so it''s great to hear that it really does help! I hope her twin delivery goes smoothly too.

Hey there twin mommies - what is the twin forum you chat on? A friend at work is preggo with twins and I wanted to steer her in that direction.

Wishing all the best for you and Jake today, Mrs. S!

Jackie Jas~ so sorry about the insensitive comments. It's amazing to me the things that come out of peoples' mouths to pregnant women....especially women who have been pregnant before. Shouldn't they know better?

Gemma~Tayva's name was a name DH made up. We were watching tv one night and the host's name was Tava (pronounced Tova) and he came up with Tayva. And that was that. That is the only name we have EVER agreed on, boy or girl, so it was perfect that we had a girl or our little boy would have been nameless! :)

Thanks everyone for the warm wishes for Miss Tayva. She is doing better today. Still coughing like a grown man and her nose is running faster than I can suck the snot out, but she's handling it like a champ. She is such a content baby. She has an upper respiratory infection. They gave her a shot of antibiotics in her little leg, prescribed a cough syrup and said to keep her upright as often as possible.

Burk, glad Tayva is feeling better. Sick babies are not fun.

Diver, he said I might get my present tomorrow. I am kind of worried about what it is seeing how he NEVER picks out anything on his own (and to my knowledge he did).

MrsS, thinking of you and your family. Can''t wait to hear all the details. Rest up!

Wishing Mrs S a safe labour!
