9 lbs is a big baby!!! If memory serves me correctly, isn''t MrsS a little peanut? WHOO HOOOO!!! You go girl! Oh, I''m so excited to see a picture of him and hear about everything!

JadeLeaves, I cannot believe how big your button is, I remember when he was so itty bitty!
Tales of the weird from pregnancy after effects...Ok...so my baby is 6.5 months old, however, my body is still not completely over the post partum hump. So remember how all my hair started falling out 2 months ago? Well, I no longer have the baseball sized fistfulls of hair when I get out of the shower, but its still more than it used to be. AND...my "baby fuzz" regrowth is now in full effect. Its about a half inch long, and get this:

Diver, that is CRAZY! Blonde? Curly? How odd. I am going bald I swear!!! You can SEE a thin spot. I saw your thread but I have never been to HH. I heard it is beautiful though. Sorry I couldn''t be more helpful.
Yes it might be a good laugh. Who knows!?! He is not really what I would call romantic. But honestly I would be happy with a new light fixture (or something for the house).

Jackie -- wow, i am awed by your nurse too.. sounds like she''s good for a giggle tho Your family sounds like DH''s right now... his mom --- who btw has NO biological grandchildren and couldn''t WAIT to have grandkids -- never calls unless it''s to complain about her life, her jobhunt or her lack of friends. it''d be so nice, if just once, she called to see how i was feeling (since she knows i''m already having a rough time!) ugh. my mom never STOPS calling. but i think they''ll all surprise you when the babies are here.. for some it''s just not "real" until then. thanks for the reminder to check on pg people, tho... dh''s cuz is due may 1 and i haven''t called her for a while

LIA -- i still like "leah"
ok, ladies, i ALMOST made it to my regularly scheduled appt -- but today after skating i went to the grocery store with dh and donovan and when we were checking out i felt a bunch of leakage all of a sudden. well, i''ve been spotting off and on this whole pg and am slowly coming to terms with that, but this was a bunch out of nowhere. so we hurried home and sure enough, it had fluid and blood (sorry, gross) to through my pants. then i started some mild cramping. honestly, it really looked like amniotic fluid (i''m 10 weeks along tomorrow, so that was weird).... well of course dr wanted to see me immediately and i was just bawling by the time i got there (it just so happens that my belly seemed smaller this weekend, too...looks like i''ve lost some of the bloat) -- they u/s''d me immediately and both babies were FINE. thank god! both measured perfectly (one was 9w6d and one was 10w) and baby a had a h/r of 157 and baby b (who i am convinced is a girl) had a h/r of 173. (phew!) baby a was really moving in the limited space it''s got and they both really looked like babies this time around These babies are gonna age me another 10 years, i swear!
ella -- i will post u/s pic for you in a bit after my son gets done meeting one of his friends on "webkins"...bbl!

YOu rock Mrs.S--you are super birther--1/2 and day and a 9 lb-er--wow!!! You are my idol.
Now, for my news--you are probably not going to believe me but i was just baking some coconut squares to pass the time, i was reading the recipe, got up and felt a gush --thought i peed my pants again (like my other little false alarm turned out to be) but when i went to the bathroom the fluid continued and there is some blood!! YAY, never been so happy to see blood!
SO, I am waiting for DH to come home then we''ll walk over to the hospital and get checked (the fluid is clear and ordorless), in the mean time i guess i''ll finish baking--i figure it''s not chocolate cake and i won;t eat any
I am not in any pain right now or anything but fingers crossed it will be soon!!!!!!
I''ll keep you all posted!

Eph, LIA, snlee, you girls aren't missing anything fun in the bb department! I'm so sore that when people hug me I almost push them away, DH hasn't been allowed near the girls in the last two weeks (TMI? sorry!) and I've gone from a C to a DD/E already!!
I'm going to have to buy some new bras because the sports bras I've been wearing are not doin' it for me. I'm still reasonably slim and I feel like it's really noticable. LIA, I think you are probably noticing a tummy because you are so tiny. I notice a bit of bloating in the evening, too-does it seem to come and go??

Curly, has the morning sickness stayed settled? I wanted to ask you (maybe I should start another thread) how you managed being back at work when Lily was 8 (is that right?) weeks old. Did you pump? How many feedings was she having? Is there anything you recommend in terms of preparation for that??
