What an eventful day!

Jas- YEAH!!! For the natural birth... I know it isnt always possible but I loved my birth and I hope yours was just as good. I love the name, it was great of Charlie to post. I hope you enjoy the next few days getting to know your little guy!

Kay- why dont you want an october baby? you will be more likely to go late than early. But thats a pretty long stretch!

I am perfectly happy with an October baby. I am just worried about buying jewelry with the October birthstone, and then having the baby not be born in October. Since my EDD is right in the middle of the month, I figure I am relatively safe.

OMG! that is too funny, I somehow missed that!!! i didnt even think about the birthstone. I dont even know what Ian''s sept birthstone, I am planning on a sapphire (being a boy and all).

However, I dont know if any of you are looking at less expensive mommy jewelry, thats what i got till I can afford the fancy ring I want...Suzanne Myers has really unique mommy charm necklaces. I have one with two charms, one with his name and one with the birthdate stamp!

Birth was natural(other than antibiotic& small dose of hormone to kick start the labor due to her very early broken water)
She said it was the hardest,craziest thing she has ever done.But is doing well.
she will post the whole story when she gets home.

OMG Ella, I know it''s getting close but when you put it like that... being second on the list kinda makes it seem real! Does that sound crazy? I keep thinking of having a baby as being something in the future, something distant. Uh, actually, it''s NEXT MONTH! OMG. It feels like I''ll never be ready.

I had my NT scan this morning. The technician spent about 25 minutes looking at the baby from multiple angles. She said the head development and heart and bladder position looked normal. She counted 10 fingers and 2 legs (the toes are too small to count). The tech and the Dr both said the nuchal fold size looks normal. So, the baby looks fine, but we''ll confirm with amnio in 3 weeks.

Apparently, my uterus is tipped at an odd angle, but that does not create problems. The Dr. noticed a fibroid, so they are going to keep track of that.

Curly~I have a girl in class whose name is Lanea. I think the name is cute alone, but she is just the sweetest girl it makes me like it even better. Not sure if it''s your "cup of tea" but thought I''d throw it out there since it''s an "L" name!

I just got back from the doctor AGAIN! Poor Tayva is not getting any better...so she''s not sleeping or eating because she can''t breath. Doctor thinks she probably has allergies. Yuck!
