Calling all the Pregnant PS''ers

Okay, I didn't want to clog the thread up with Tessa pics so here they all are. The one in the Bumbo is obviously not her sitting on her own but I love how she is obsessed with her shoes. She loves to suck on them. Basically EVERYTHING goes into her mouth now. Anyways, enjoy!

Ella, Miss K is getting so big! Is she still little for her age?

Tessa_sitting-5-7.jpg

Ella,
Glad K''s hemangioma is a friendly one. She''s such a cutie!!

Tacori,
Yay for Tessa sitting up. I love how she wants to go at it with those shoes. So adorable!!!

Hi Neatfreak,
I hope you get the u/s and it''s not too expensive for you. I have been wanting to ask you about the CBT. I heard you mention it before I think and I was wondering how helpful it was for you/how fast it worked? I feel like it will be a long nine months for me, as I went off SSRI last year in preparation for TTC. I seemed like I was fine until last fall when so many stressful things happened and then I noticed I was not coping well at all. Over time I started to feel better but now I just notice that I worry so much and I cannot control it. That is one reason I have been trying to stay away a little from here and the internet since it sometimes makes it worse for me. I was interested in finding other ways to cope and that is why I was intrigued by the CBT. My friends and family have said the same- just don''t worry about it - you don''t have control but it is not that easy. I have to say though that things have improved since last week.

Well I hope that you are feeling well and that time flies for you to 12 weeks, and for me too, lol. Thanks for listening.

P.S. HI to the rest of all the p.s. mommies and mommies to be- so much going on I can''t comment on everything. The pics are so cute and continue to entertain me, so thank you!!!!

Ellaila - 2WW (2 week wait before preg. testing) Funny, I think NF cleared this up for me in TTC thread a while back. (Such adorable twins)

Bobo - I found the 1st 6 months very hard as Olivia did not sleep! I remember walking around dazed with hairy legs wondering where my pedicure went and why
have I still been wearing my maternity clothes this whole time? We have finally found a calmer rhythm and are getting some of ourselves back. But we want another one!
Yep, that''s why I''m on the 2WW. (little B is such a cutie, I just want to pinch his cheek!)

Here''s hoping to really join you guys soon!

Oh my gosh Tacori, she looks like she is having a ball! What a beauty, she is !!!!! Super duper cuteness. hehe Yay for sitting Tessa!!!!!!
36.gif

Ella, your baby''s are super duper cute! Love the twins!!
36.gif

Tacori,

What a little angel she is. Please give her a kiss for me. Geez, I wish my two little grandsons were that age again.

Linda

Thanks Kaleigh, Skippy, and Linda! She was laughing at our cat silly girl. Please ignore the excess drool clinging to her chin. Her nose is still stuffed up so drool has multiplied
14.gif
I know it isn''t "real" sitting up but it''s a start. Plus she is so little I think somethings are harder for her. She held that position for several mins straight. And then did it again (I had to change my camera battery). Next time I must get video.

Cute cute baby pictures!!

Bobo
Love the new avi of little B in his hoodie
30.gif

Like others have said, those cheekies are calling out to be pinched
9.gif

Can''t believe he is 3-months old already and advancing to next stage nipples!

Jas12
You must still be on the same drug that you were on while preggo...
cuz Co is just a cutie and his nose is just right.
He looked so oczy in his bugaboo. More pix when you get a chance.

Oh, glad to hear that you found something to help with sleeping routine.
I''ll need to ask you what you did differently with the "baby whisperer" that did wonder.

TGal
Love the 1-month picture of Amelia.
She''s a beauty! The only funky looking thing I see in that pix is the sign
41.gif

That reminds me, I need to get 1-month pic of J myself.

Tacori
Wow, another milestone for Tessa
36.gif
36.gif

She''s such a looker. Daddy needs to stay fit so that he can chase away all the boys who''ll come knocking at your door!
Love her blond hair and blue eyes
30.gif
30.gif

Everytime I her eyes (and all the other babies with big eyes and eyelid creases
5.gif
), I am so jealous.
Lil J here have your typical creaseless small asian eyes
41.gif

Can''t wait to see the pro pictures!!
Are you doing the 6-months and 1-year professional pix?
One my of sister''s friend spend about a grand for those professional pix for her kid.
Very artsy with the angel wings and stuff....but a grand? I think that''s a bit much.
Too bad that stingy lady didn''t want to divulge her photographer''s info.

Ella
You''ll have to post bigG''s pix too.
You can''t just post one and not the other.
A milestone for bigG too
36.gif
36.gif
Can''t believe time goes by so fast.
It seems like yesterday that I was looking at the 9wk u/s of my little one.
Now, she''s lying here 1 month old!

MrsS
Waiting for pic of your big Jake

Cute belly shots Snlee and Jas.
How''s about the other preggos?
Come on ladies, don''t be shy.

Jas
Congrats on your both boys!!
Wow, half way there already!!
Bummer about the modified bedrest though -- but 4-6 hrs isn''t too bad.
Like you said, you can just kick up your feet and enjoy PS.
So do you know if your doctor is going to induce labor earlier because you are carrying twins?

Jen
I forgot if you are going to do the amnio for your twinsy.
And if so, are you going to find out the genders?

Snlee
That''s great that you took weekly pictures of your belly.
I wished I had done it more religiously myself.
You''ll be amazed at how fast your belly will grow later on in the last half of your pregnancy.
Enjoy your little belly

No TGal, now we have mommy brain!
20.gif

I think mommy brain is worst than preggo brain
9.gif

The only thing on your mind these days are when the little one feed and poop

Lili, thanks! I think her eyes are changing to hazel. Right now they are a greyish-greenish-blue. Very pretty but hard to describe. I am going to use this awesome photographer for sure for her 1 year but I am starting to think maybe not for 6 months. She is pricey (AMAZING but expensive). Her cheapest package is $325 and that only has a handful of prints (which might be okay b/c she puts the photos online so family can order prints from her). I would really want the CD though (with ALL the photos) but it''s $400, plus $175 setting fee...Diamondseeker is talking me out of it! She said hold out for the 1 year portrait. So maybe I will just go to Sears or somewhere for 6 months. Any suggestions? Mean, stingy play date mom!
29.gif
I do think my photographer is better than her''s, but her''s would be perfect for 6 month.

Ahh....how could I have missed MissLily''s 1-yr party.
She''s a cutie as usual.
I love her custom-made dress and the picture of her going at it on the cupcake is priceless.

And yay for another milestone -- taking her first step.

I need to get some new belly shots of me - although it seems I grow a bit more each day.

Sleeping is starting to get really uncomfortable. My hips have been achy and my lower back hurts by the end of the day. I always have hubby give me a rub down with lotion so that helps but I''m still not sleeping well. I have the strangest dreams ever! They are so real and sometimes really scarey!
Jess

Yup, you''ll find that every day is a growth spurt day when you reached wk 32

Q, I had a belly book when preggo (loved it! Though I STILL need to put in a few pics) and a baby calendar which is so much easier to use than my baby book. It comes with cute little stickers that says ''reached for an object'', ''doctor''s visit'', ''new food'', ''first bath'', ''special day'' etc so it is fast to update.

Qtiekiki--
Definitely find a journal that is not too complicated.
I don''t have one myself, but I can tell you that you time is scarce for life with baby
41.gif
, especially if you have one like mine who wants to be cuddled the whole time.

oh, my doc''s office charged my insurance $300-$400 (can''t remember) per u/s.

Mine are over $900!
23.gif
I have no clue why it''s so high. My other co-worker''s u/s were around $300-400 too.

Is that for the level II u/s?
I think the transvaginal ones should be cheaper.

I''ve been meaning to post this pix.
Not the latest, but it is one with her awake
41.gif

Think she''s 3 wks old here.

lili, she is ADORABLE! Look at all that hair.

Pave, just wanted to let you know that I saw your post and am in the exact same boat as you. I could have written what you said.

BUT on a very unfortunate note, there was a massive fire in the unit upstairs from ours (everyone is fine and our apartment is pretty much ok amazingly enough). But there has been so much excitement here tonight, I can''t write a thoughtful response. But I''ll respond soon I promise!

Tacori
Whatever color eyes they are, they are still gorgeous!

My sister took some of the specialty photos for her son.
You know the ones where they dress the kids up in the old fashion attire and take the pictures in sephia stuff.
It''s one of those kiosk thingy that are set up in the atrium at the mall.
I''m sure they are at every mall.
The pictures came out pretty neat, and I think it was around $20.

lili, she is ADORABLE! Look at all that hair.

Hehe, thanks.
She looks so much like a little boy.

Tacori, Tessa is just way too cute~ such a happy baby!

Thanks Lisa, hope Olivia will get a brother or sister soon..

Thanks lili, babies grow up so fast.

Lili, I think T looked like a little boy when she was that tiny as well. I really do think babies get much cuter with age (and once the personality begins to show). Don''t worry she is a cutie.

Bobo, love little B''s hooded towel. He is so adorable. I bet you kiss those cheeks all day.

36.gif
Hurray for Tessa!!!
36.gif
What a cutie she is sitting up like a big girl. So fun. Tacori So glad you found a good photographer. WOW to those prices! It would probably be cheaper to fly here and use my photographer!
9.gif
I have a friend who has used Sears many times and her pics always turn out cute. Tessa is an adorable subject so it''s not like they could screw it up!!
2.gif
Then again, they''re only this age once. Now I''m not helping..........

Lili~I love J''s hair!!! Too cute!!

Ella~K is so cute. Her hemangioma is barely even noticeable.

Lisa~Good luck! Hope Olivia is getting a brother or sister!

Neatfreak~Sorry about your apartment. Hope everything is okay.

Yay Tessa for sitting up! She is really a cutie, Tacori. I''d totally splurge on the expensive pics. She is only a baby once and why not capture the moment? Too bad the play-date mom is so stingy and won''t tell you the name of the other person.

Lili - Lil J is sooo tiny in that pic - and so much beautiful hair! I don''t think she looks like a boy at all. I hope my baby isn''t born bald!

Not too much to report here - lurking mostly and enjoying your stories. I''m beginning to experience strangers coming at me wanting to touch my belly. I don''t mind so much if it''s someone I know but strangers (and clients) are not allowed near my cute lil bump.

Client is here - more soon!

Jess

Oh wow NF I am so sorry to hear about the fire in your building. I hope you and your neighbors all get through it ok. That must have been so scary. No rush on replying...Do you have any smoke damage to your stuff? Did you guys have renters insurance? Hang in there.

Thanks Tacori, I love kissing his cheeks...and he always give me a big smile after the kisses

Neatfreak, sorry to hear about the fire. Hope everything is ok.

hi guys!
i have been more of a lurker lately too! i have LOVED the pics and updates from everyone. i don''t have time to write personal responses right now...forgive me for a VERY ego centric post, but i really need your help/advice.

dh and i are having a BIG argument and i need your input. we can''t decide whether or not to find out the gender of the baby. i really want to know and he really doesn''t. he says it''s one of life''s biggest surprises and he thinks it''s such an amazing moment when the doctors say, "it''s a boy!" or "it''s a girl!"
and i totally agree with that....BUT...i am such a planner. i feel like i really want to know. and not only for "planning" purposes, but for bonding too. i hate calling the baby "it" or "the baby." it would be so nice to say "he" or "she" and just TO KNOW and to prepare...
and also, it''s still exciting to hear the sex WHENEVER you find out (month 5 vs at delivery). and the birth is exciting NO MATTER WHAT. i mean, hello... you''re having a BABY!!!

of course there is much more to this story (i think i''ll save the gory details of our fight for another day!!). BUT in any case....please tell me your experiences with NOT knowing the sex ahead of time. or especially for those of you with several kids who knew with one and not with another...
i keep thinking about jas and how she said she was SO shocked when they told her it was a boy...etc etc etc.
in other news...
we had our nuchal translucency screening on monday and everything looks great!
and we met with our rabbi regarding purchases before the baby and he told us a story of when his wife was pregnant and some store was having a big sale and how even HE bought a ton of stuff before delivery!! haha!!

ok, hope everyone is doing well! LOVE the updates!!!

Preganant!! 014.jpg

omg...so sorry.
