I appearantly DON''T have a squeaky clean mind. Are you thinking it''s too close to Elle Vay Jay?? as in va jay jay? Which I don''t. The first thing I thought of was Louis Vuitton.
Yes. Le Vah Gine.
Le Va Jay
Le Vee GEE!

louis Vuitton is great. Loving; fabulous!

Le Vah-Hina - not so much...

**Paging Neat**

What stroller do you have with your chicco? I thought this entire time that it fit into the snap-n-go and was just told it doesn''t.

I was confused on this, too because Baby Bargains said the Chicco 30 didn''t fit the baby trend or the Graco. But I read on the internet it did..So I went to babysrus and put it in both of them. It didn''t ''snap'' in the snap n go, so I finally let a salesman help us and he showed us how it sits in there firmly and has a strap across it to secure it in. The strap was broken on the model, so it wasn''t obvious to me!!

Plus I''m glad so many others who have it have chimed in that the saleman was right!

Mela, you''re nuts!! LOL Nothing wrong with those initials! At first I thought maybe it was a STD I didn''t know of or something. haha

Mela- Nothing weird to me, either, though Louis Vuitton did come to mind. Which doesn''t bother me.

LOST: Sabine, I think Ben is awesome as an actor- but yes, he is a hateable character. But I love that he NEVER breaks character. He NEVER does anything "nice"- maybe he keeps his word, but it''s never out of compassion. But he''s so well-written and he never blinks. Genius. And yep, Sawyer has become such the little hero, hasn''t he? Wouldn''t have guessed it from Season 1. I finally had a bit more respect for Jack this past episode when he made his speech to Kate. Won''t say more than that in case people aren''t caught up.
3.gif

Fiery- You must be a saint. I can''t believe you aren''t more upset with your MIL!!! I do get that she means well and is just excited- your other posts about her have been positive. So she clearly just doesn''t get it, which doesn''t make her a bad person. But I agree with Phoenixgirl, you may have to be clearer so she stops trying to get around the "one person" rule. Good luck. I can''t even imagine. NO WAY is anyone else allowed in the room with me besides DH!!!

NYC- Aww girl, glad you are hanging in there. Can''t wait to hear your names when you finally deliver!

RE: Strollers/Maxi Cosi- Thanks for input everyone. Thing is I had decided against a "big" stroller like a Bugaboo or Stokke cause I don''t think I need it. I was planning on getting a snap n go type light stroller, and then a Bob revolution. As much as I
30.gif
the Stokke and the Quinny and the Uppa Vista, I just don''t think I need it where I live. But maybe I''m wrong?

LINDSEY- Do you by chance live in Houston? I thought I remembered that, but maybe I am confusing you with someone else. If so, would love to hear your thoughts on why you got a Bugaboo. Maybe I need ammunition for a cool stroller!
11.gif

Has anyone seen the new Maclaren Grand Tour (I think it''s called?) It''s their brand new big stroller, about $900 and it is super cool. I don''t need anything like that, but my friend is getting one and I love it. Apparently there is a waiting list already. Hilarious!!!!

Mela,

Totally not even thinking anything dirty when I see LVG. Like fiery, I think "loving." Which is cuteness!!!
9.gif

I guess I'm a perve! lol

BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN???????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

China- I have seen the Maclaren Grand Tour (online) and it really seems fantastic! But $900, no thanks! We bought the Maxi Cosi in phantom because I love that its all black and sleek, plus has great safety ratings. We got the Micralite Fastfold newborn system for a stroller, and it can be used as a snap-n-go with the Maxi Cosi. LOVE the stroller, too (''course no baby yet, so very preliminary testing
2.gif
! Bassinett is SO so cute, plus it is super light and folds pretty tiny when just as a stroller. Anyhoo...there''s my 2 cents. And PLEASE let me know if you find the GD baby CD- DH will freak out!

Mela- first thing I thought was Louis Vuitton Girl! Love it! Totally don''t think the La Va Jay Jay thing is a problem, although it IS hilarious!

Fiery- Oh man, I would have a heart attack if my MIL was acting like that! I''m glad you guys are close, but this is too much! My sister-in-law actually called my mom into the delivery room when she was giving birth to my niece, and my mom was cool with it (she''s a nurse and loves that stuff), but I was like "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!? Mom, you''re not even allowed in when I have a baby! Yeesh!" To each her own, but I think you need to be really clear, really quick and nip this in the bud ASAP. I feel for you!

NYC- hang in there girl! I can''t wait to hear your name choices!

Courtney- how are you feeling?

BLEN, BLEN, BLEN- I so hope you are snuggling with your beautiful little one right now!

China, I have more respect for Hurley too after this last episode. I loved the convo between him and Miles.

I''m feeling pretty good, Natalina. Thanks for checking on me! I''m feeling her drop a little bit I think and my hips and tailbone seem to be crumbling apart. It was quite funny to watch me try and turn over in bed last night. I think I need to pushed!

I know Blen has more important things than PS right now, but come on! Hehe.

Haha.... yep, Blen''s totally cuddling her little *girl* right now!!!

BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN???????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha.

I think the only initials that would make me think that would be something that really spells it out, you know, like VAG.

LOL, Mela, I didn''t think that at all. I think they''re safe initials.

Mela- I also think loving and louis v girl (which is my kinda girlie ;)

Cc- I also ordered chicco and snap n go..I was told at bru it did fit.

I feel weird picking "J" names...like the duggars LOL..but luckily neither name is one of theirs!...girl will have middle name but boy won''t..dunno if that''s weird?

Fiery- I can''t even comment bc I hate my MIL so im disgusted with all of them and the stupidity they come up with.

Nyc,

It's not weird for your son not to have a middle name. Lots of people don't. It's also not weird for a person to have two middle names. Our son will!

**Not to thread jack, but...** I saw you posted recently that you had IVF; did you have a long road on the TTC wagon? Stories like yours make me smile, and make it seem like the heartache with TTC will be worth it one day when I get to carry a baby to term. Girl, what a pay off to be where you are now, successfully carrying your babies into what is it now, week 34, 35? Term is just MOMENTS away!!!

So proud of you!!

PS-Are you going to show off the kiddos when they're born? I know you've been bashful to post belly pics (and as much as I l
30.gif
ve them, I probably won't do that either, I'm a little to big to be saying, "hey, look at this!!"), and I was just wondering if once they're born, we'll get to see them.

I have a chicco and used Baby Trend's S'NG. Worked great.

Hey fishie- im not bashful at all, in fact I''ve posted many pics before but....now I only get dressed when I got out to docs and everytime I get home I forget to take pic bc im so uncomfy and tear my clothes off right away lol..but I do plan to have someone take pics wed when I go to my parents house...bc I don''t have a normal mirror at home..so look out for those pics ;)
Baby pics will def be posted once we have them! And everything during labor will be updated by bff.

Re ivf: I didn''t really have too long of a ttc period..never temped or anything bc my sis has the same issue and I knew I would need help right away so no point in wasting time. I never got my period on my own (pcos)..so no ovulation. I was discouraged bc my sis tried countless fertility treatments and nothing worked..but she found the best fertility facility in nyc for me and luckily 1st time ivf took (I tried iui''s before but that''s not strong enough of a procedure in my case and I expected it not to work so had to try for ins purposes)...I do think if u try and nothing works, fertility treatments are a great way to go and I know smthg will work for u hunny ..its a patience game! If u have any ?''s feel free to ask away!

Congrats on seeing the heartbeat November!! It's very exciting, isn't it?

Neatfreak, thanks so much for your breastfeeding feedback. I'll be sad not to exclusively breastfeed, but DH was exclusively formula-fed and he turned out pretty perfectly.
9.gif
I don't know if you saw my other question? I just copied and pasted it below. I really, really appreciate all of your help!

"Neatfreak, that was VERY helpful!!! It sounds like you're empirically-oriented like me. This seems like a dumb question, but how do you know if an ob/gyn has a lot of twin experience? Do I just call a lot of them and ask, or were you able to get a recommendation from the peri? Like you said I would really like to avoid major surgery, so I'm hoping that they're both head down. I recently read though that only 40% of the babies are both head down.

GOSH! Doesn''t Blen have a birthing-update buddy? I''ve been checking every hour for an update! Blen, I hope you are just so captivated by your gorgeous little baby that you''ve forgotten all about lowly PS! But I hope all is going well!

Okay sorry.... going back to lurking.....

Oops I didn't see this one. I honestly just found the best recommended OB in the hospital where I knew I was going by asking a few nurses/PA's at the clinic. They all said they went to this one doctor and that he was fabulous-so I tried him first. He did end up being great. The way I knew he had twin experience was that he told me! He was very knowledgeable about twin pregnancies and the stats that go along with them, told me he had delivered many many twins, AND he told me that although most twins are not both head down he was also comfortable letting patients deliver vaginally if Baby A is head down and Baby B is normal breech. MANY doctors these days aren't comfortable enough with themselves (or trained) to do a breech delivery-so I knew I had my doctor then. Baby B ended up being Frank breech (butt first) so I opted for the c-section anyway (and really it was SUPER easy so don't despair if you need to have one). Ultimately you just need to put your wishes aside and do what is right for the babies-which might mean a c-section.

Also worth mentioning that if you have hospital choices you want to pick a doctor that practices/delivers at the hospital with the best NICU just in case. If not and your babies need a good NICU they will be transferred to the other hospital and YOU will still be stuck at the one you delivered at. So to try and avoid this it's best to try and deliver at a hospital with a good NICU from the start.

Is there a local mothers of multiples group in your area? Often those women will pass around good doctors for multiple pregnancies. I would start by googling around to see if there is.

As for the BFing-you certainly could try to do it totally exclusively but you will run yourself ragged IMO. I probably do about 90% BF and I think that is pretty great- you just can't stress yourself out about it especially this early. When the time comes you'll figure out what works for you whether that is BFing 100% or not at all.

Surely the Blen baby *girl* (okay maybe it''s a boy) was born yesterday or last night.

I simply can''t wait to find out what they have chosen to name their baby!!!

I wonder how the doggies are adjusting, too.

OMG Sawyer is so delicious
18.gif
. By the end of Season 3 I was so annoyed with Jack that I can't find him good looking anymore LOL

So I was hoping for a Baby Blen update before I posted my vent of the week (really of the day if you knew me in person).

MIL has recruited more people in her battle to be in the delivery room despite FI mentioning to her that we want it to be a private moment. How do I know she's recruiting people? Because at a birthday party yesterday her neighbor tells me that if I have a c-section then only one person is allowed but for a normal birth I can have as many as I want. AND it can still be private even if his mother is there. She told me that it is a beautiful moment that shoud be shared with everyone in the family. She said everyone should include my mom, his mother, his dad, and his grandmother and that she was there for the birth of all 5 of her grandchildren with no problem. She says all of this while I was sitting alone (FI was bbqing during the convo) with his dad, mom, and grandmother. I was first passive agressive about it. I said that I undrstood some peole enjoy that but I don't. My mom isn't going to be there because she knows this is a private moment for me. Her neighbor went on to say that I was being ridiculous
29.gif
because they stand behind me and nothing can be seen.

At this point I was just mad and told her it had nothing to do with my body. We didn't have an audience the night she was conceived, we're not going to have an audience when she comes into the world. Everyone can see her after she arrives. I know his mom and dad were hurt but damn. Talk about backing someone into a corner
38.gif

GOOD GRIEF!!!!
23.gif
Stand your ground Fiery, the birth is between you and your Husband and your MIL should just butt out - excited or not!!! Sorry to jump in here but this kind of stuff makes me so mad!!

Fiery,

I had forgotten I''d read about that from my cell phone yesterday and I was steaming for you. I really think that at this point both you and your man need to sit down with her and present a united front, but in love, and tell her that this is stressing you out and it''s not necessary. I think she really truly does love you and the baby and wants to be a part of the process. Maybe you could give her a job? Like, could she do some of the calling to announce the baby''s birth? Or could she have the job of making sure that a bow/balloon gets put on your mailbox/front door to announce the birth of the baby (this is a big thing around here, but may not be where you live)? Something like that so she knows she''s part of this baby''s life, but doesn''t need to *be there* when the kid enters the world.

Something like that may take away some of the sting of the discussion you *totally need to have, along with your fiance* with her. And, it would also help you out on your big day, too!!

Nyc---

Thanks for the response. I''m so excited for you!!!
9.gif
9.gif

Also Fiery from what I have read from the other ladies, the delivery room nurses will make excellent bouncers on your behalf, if you tell them you don't want visitors into the delivery room then they will keep them out!
2.gif
Regardless of "hospital policy"!

Where''s Blen''s update??? Didn''t she have a labor buddy, or did she just think that since she''d be at home, she wouldn''t need one? I can''t imagine trying to get online after giving birth, although I''m sure if anyone could do it, it would be Blen! Can''t wait to find out how she and her LO are doing!

Fiery, I''d be soooo mad at your MIL if I were you! That is way over the line, but hopefully it''s come to an end.

Mela, I didn''t see anything wrong with your initials of LVG (I also thought loving and louis vuitton something) and I think I missed what dirty thing you were thinking, but that''s okay.

November, congrats on the heartbeat!

I"m sooooo excited, today is our last day of school for a whole week!!! And I get to go visit my brother and sil in NY, and it''s dh''s first time ever in NY! I''m soooo looking forward to some time off from school!

My question of the day...has anyone else had night sweats? I woke up around midnight last night totally soaked even though it was definitely cold (we hadn''t turned the heat back on, and it went down in the 30''s last night!). I felt totally gross, changed, and then spent the rest of the night freezing!

Blen didn''t have a labor buddy since she thought she''d be able to update on PS or at least that mela or I would see updates on facebook. I checked her facebook this morning and there''s not even a mention that she''s in labor though. I just texted her to let her know we''re all thinking about her. I hope that''s not too stalkery, but she had her number in her facebook profile.

She texted back!!!

George was born at 12:56 am. 7lbs 15oz.

She said she has a long story for later.

Congrats Blen and Mr. Blen!!!

WOW! 12:56 am the 7th?? I can't believe I was wrong and Blen had a boy! I guess I'm not a good guesser! Congrats Blen!!!

ETA: How do I friend request you ladies on Facebook?

Courtney, since we''re not allowed to give out personal info, some of us have found each other when someone accidentally posts personal info and it''s seen before it can be removed and others have found each other through common interest groups. I actually ran into fiery on thebump.com, but I didn''t realize it was her for a while.

Yay for George! Happy Birthday!

36.gif

Fishie-Thanks for all of those ideas. That sounds like a great plan to me. I think she just wants to be involved and do something. She's been asking to come over for weeks now to do my laundry or clean my bathroom. She even mentioned to my mom that she doesn't want me doing stuff that she can help out with so I think assigning her a job will really help.

Snlee and Tacori-Thanks! That's what I figured. I called Baby Trend last night before posting and they said no but I figured that was because they rather you buy their own carseats. I remember the tag saying that it did fit Chicco.

NYC-Wow 33 weeks! You and the babes are doing so well
