Calling all the Pregnant PS''ers

Pandora- Can't hurt to ask, right? I would think that all of your reasons you listed are a good start.

Court- Glad you finally went to half days! Annoying about your boss. Guess she'll figure it out when you're not there for 12 weeks!
11.gif
Let's hope Alila starts making her move soon. Is it your doc that is going on vacation right after your due date?

Sapphire- I am guessing boy for you. Your belly looked like mine at 19 weeks! Let us know!!!!

Amber- I feel you, you just feel fat at that stage. I would definitely buy some looser tops, it makes such a difference in your mental and physical comfort. I had a bunch of flow-y tops that were not maternity that I wore. I also just went to the Gap and bought a few t-shirts in a size bigger- they seemed big at the time, and now they are perfect. Gap maternity makes some soft looser t-shirts as well. Or try Old Navy? You are lucky that you can wear casual stuff to work, it is so much easier to find stuff that looks decent. My biggest problem is finding work clothes that aren't too ugly or too expensive. How are you doing otherwise?

Hey ladies...im leaving hosp now and twinks were transferred to a crib today and should be going home tom!...depending on how they maintain their temps outside incubator...pics were sent to my bff bkgirl..and she should be posting them shortly...

I am not bf''ing..im scared to say that here bc I think im the only one
7.gif
I don''t have a real explanation for it other than I can''t devote the entire day to pumping and feeding...I need family to help with feeding.

Everything is so surreal.

NYC- YAY for leaving the hospital, and wow, that is amazing that hopefully the twinks will go home tomorrow!
36.gif
Personally, I don''t think you should feel bad about not nursing, it is a totally personal decision IMO. Everyone is different, and you need to do what you can. Can''t wait to see pics!!!

Yay NYC

Those twinks are so strong. I''m so glad they''re going home tomorrow! How much do they weigh now?

Congrats NYC on being discharged, and the possibility of the babies going home tomorrow! How great!

China, I'm doing well, still all paranoid. Hopefully tomorrow's appointment will cement everything for me, and let me finally enjoy things. I'm randomly queasy, threw up a few times because of my crazy sensitive gag reflex and the boobs are still painful, but I'll welcome any thing to let me know all is okay.

Stupid question: I have an ultrasound tomorrow, and since I'm about 9w, it'll be a transvag one, right? So I should probably go up and drop off my urine sample first, THEN go downstairs to the ultrasound, since last time they had me empty my bladder first.

CC- thanx for the support ...it def is a peronal decision and I did think it over a lot.

Fiery- they weigh basically same ...jon is about 3.14 and jackie is 4lbs...they lost a little but that is normal so they should start gaining now.

They are sooo strong...my jaw dropped today when I saw what my preemie 4lb daughter was doing...she was trying to get up!...she wanted to pick her head up and she was pushing and moving her body up...I was shocked!

NYC, you have nothing to be ashamed about here! Not nursing is FINE. I was just curious to see if you were planning on it or if you even could right now. I''m so glad you get to go home and they get to go home tomorrow! That is so wonderful. I''m ready for pictures!

Yep, China...that was me. OB is going on vaca May 1st.

Yes, do the urine sample first. I just had a vaginal u/s on friday.

We finally got to hear the heartbeat and see the baby for the 1st time on Friday! It was so exciting. The heartbeat was 175. Also, I found out that I am further along than I thought. I''m 10 weeks instead of 9 weeks. Hopefully, this means that I''m closer to getting rid of my morning sickness! It''s killing me!

I also went and bought my wedding dress. They even had a little baby bump to give me when I was trying them on--as I''ll be about 17-18 weeks on my wedding day.

I''m going to try and attach the pictures from the u/s

Adorable!

I was surprised that they did this one so early in the pregnancy. It was so much fun seeing the baby this way though.

Most likely a transvag one yes. I always do the urine sample first then go do the u/s. Although with the big u/s, they had me go in with a tummy full of water.

Tao-Babe looks great!

Like everyone else, I was also hit hard by Lindsey''s loss
15.gif
...I couldn''t post through the weekend but read what others posted and I''m right there with everyone else. I pray for you Lindsey, for Natalie and your family everyday!. Your little girl was so lucky so have you and just know that she knows how loved she is.

Pandora I hope the swelling goes down soon!

Sorry I''m not mentioning everyone, I''m just not concentrating today for some reason!.

We went to do teh Nuchal Fold ultrasound for the sequential testing. The babies were so funny at first, moving all over the place!. The tech was able to get Baby B''s measurement very quickly (like 1.1 I think?...she said that was very positive!). Baby A decided it was time for napping and didn''t choose a "desirable position". We tried everything for like an hour, but she/he was too busy sleeping to cooperate!
3.gif
. It was pretty funny...we were there for almost an hour (I''m not complaining, it''s the best movie I''ve ever seen
30.gif
). Anyway, so we couldn''t do the blood test because they have to get both babies on the same day and then do the blood test that same day!....so we have to go back next Monday. Let''s see if the little ones decide to cooperate then

Happy Monday

11 weeks 4 days

. They said to do the test between 11-13 weeks but to go earlier rather than later in case they didn''t cooperate! hehe, they were right!

Awww, they''re darling, NYC! Congratulations again.

tao- What a cute little one you''ve got, too!

EBree-I was wondering where you were. How are you doing?

NYC, how adorable! Oh, the cuteness! So glad you are hopefully bringing them home tomorrow!

Tao, what a cute u/s! Was that a 3D one as well?!? If so, I''m jealous, we don''t get to do one at all, let alone that early! Hopefully the m/s will end soon!

Courtney, sounds like you have a good plan in place for if things move along accordingly and if they don''t. I hope Alila starts moving things along on her own for you though!

Amber, I remember the bloaty phase well. I found that wearing loose non mat. tops or fitted mat. tops worked well because fitted tops did not fit my expanding bust, but I was swimming in most maternity shirts. I also switched over early into the maternity pants with the wide elastic waistband (not the full belly panel) because they were so much more comfortable.

As for me, I''m sick yet again. I was hoping it was just allergies since I was at an outdoor wedding on sat., but I felt like crap all day yesterday and today I have a full-blown head cold. I''m taking tomorrow off of school because I had to break down and take sudafed to get me through the day today. I know that it''s approved to take by most doctors, but I still feel really guilty taking it (and today it didn''t even help that much), so I''m trying to avoid taking it as much as humanly possible.

NYC- Your twins are so precious!! Congratulations!

Yes! I was completely shocked when she turned the screen from the regular u/s and when she turned the screen back to us it was that amber colored 3-d one. It was exciting....I never knew they did it that early and without even making a request for it. I love that you can see the little arm buds up near the eyes...it''s just so cute!

I don''t get another u/s until the anatomy one at 20 weeks....Hopefully just looking at the 10 pictures I received will be enough to tide us over til then!

I can''t get over how beautiful the twins are!

EBree-I was wondering where you were. How are you doing?

Hey, fiery! Thank you for asking! I''m okay, I''ve just been busy the past couple of weeks. I had a rough night last night- sporadic rib/back pain that woke both DH and I multiple times throughout the night. I called the doctor this morning, and she wants an ultrasound done to rule out gallbladder issues, so I''m hoping (and praying!) everything looks okay in that department.

How are you feeling?
