Calling all the Pregnant PS''ers

Well, my bleeding has offically turned dark red and the cramps have gotten worse, so I''m assuming it''s safe to say that this is a loss

Thank you all for your support and advice. While the pregnancy was a surprise it was still wanted by me, and has opened up the discussion again between DH and I for a 4th. We''re going to get through this first and then in a couple of weeks, start talking again and see what we want. If we are absolutely not having a 4th (this time planned) then DH is getting a vasectomy!

Thank you all again. Many hugs!!
Feb- I''m so sorry to hear about the color change. Hopefully the doctor might still have good news tomorrow, but if she doesn''t I''m glad to hear that the communication is still open for a 4th.
Good luck tomorrow.

Oh, Feb, I''m so sorry to hear that. I know that you were so excited about the baby. I am so sorry to hear that things did not go well.

february, I am so sorry. Is your husband home (wasn''t he traveling?)? I hope he''s there to be with you right now.

Hugs, and take good are of yourself.

LittleLysser, labor dust your way!!! It really sounds like you are close!

meresal, I''m glad your husband spoke to his mom. Ugh. What''s with MILs? That is totally annoying, and the "you''ve messed up too" is just not an adult response! Classic deflection . . .

Well, that''s it for my break from shower thank you notes . . .

Lysser I think it will be any time in the next week!!

So sorry Feb. I was hoping it wasn''t going this way. Please take good care, we will be here for you. Hugs...

Feb I missed your post earlier... I am so sorry! Big hugs and take good care of yourself!

Feb - so sorry that things have taken this turn. At least your DH was coming around to the idea of a fourth, and you will have time to both think things over and really come to a decision. The birth control really shouldn''t just be all your responsibility. This early on, I don''t think the miscarriage should be too painful. My 8.5 week one was crampy at times, though nothing that needed more than ibuprofen/tylenol. My 4.5 week one was just like an extended heavy period. The emotional stuff was really much harder than the physical both times. Thankfully you probably won''t need a D&C or anything, which I''d always worried would possibly cause me uterine problems later on. Hugs - thinking of you!

Feb: I''m so sorry

Lysser - sounds close to me! I wasn''t 2cm until 40+ hours into full-on labour so you are definitely going the best way possible. Lots of good wishes for a fast and speedy birth!

Feb - I''m so sorry, hugs

Meresal - I would be SO angry if that was my MIL. My father is totally unable to keep secrets so I made a point of naming all the people he couldn''t tell - he rang me an hour later to ask if he could tell all the staff at his medical practice (they''ve all known me since I was about 11) at which point I gave up...

Wow... Pandora, that''s incredible.
We wouldn''t have even told the IL''s yet, except that DH works for his dad. (They would obviously start to wonder why DH would need a few afternoons off to go to doctor''s appt''s with me.) So it just amazes me she thought it was ok to share, when te are well aware that we aren''t telling my parents till this weekend. I know you all weren''t really around BWW, but it''s just an extension of the lack of respect she has for my family, or really any other family but her own.

It caused a bunch of tension around our house yesterday, so I''m actually just glad that the weekend is over with.

I have a question. Are any of you taking extra calcium or iron supplements with your pre-natal vitamins?

I''m only taking my prenatal (if I even remember it---I''m a bad mommy)

Good Monday morning pregnant ladies! I just dropped my little one off for his first day of preschool....sniff, sniff. He was so excited and barely told me goodbye before he started playing! Anyway, he goes 4 days a week, so it will give me time to get organized before the baby comes. I am 18 weeks tomorrow and it is our big ultrasound. I am so anxious to find out what we''re having. I will be sure to update everyone as soon as we find out. I hope everyone is having a great day!

Feb., so sorry. Please take care of yourself.

Update on Clomid pregnancy - there''s just ONE in there! I am so relieved after my first ultrasound this morning. We conceived this baby during our second round of 50 mg Clomid to treat my PCOS. Even though my doctor told me that my chances of having twins were only around 7%, I was still freaking out - it seems like everyone on the internet who used Clomid has either twins or triplets

We already have a son who is nearly 3, so we were hoping for just one more baby (we ideally wanted 2 children). So, we''re very happy with the result that the baby''s a singleton.

Also, even though I was charting my cycle on fertilityfriend, and it said that my due date was supposed to be April 20, the tech has us measuring as slightly younger - April 23. I guess 3 days isn''t that much of a difference, but it makes me only 6 and a half weeks along - I thought we were turning 7 weeks tomorrow.

Now we''re trying to guess whether it''s a boy or a girl - my gut says girl, and my gut was right last time when I thought I was having a boy and I did. My husband, however, is equally convinced that we''re having a boy, though, even though he wants a girl. The heart rate was 128 which indicates boy if you believe in that, but I guess we just have to wait another 3 months to find out ...

Feb-I''m so sorry.

LL-Already 2cm is great! I''m with DD. I''m guessing in the next week. Soooooo exciting for you!!

Phoenix-DD lives in onesies. I don''t put her in any outfits unless we go out and even then if its just the two of us, she wears a onesie and socks. She had about 7 NB onesies (that she doesn''t fit into anymore

), and about 10 0-3.

Mer-If you have a history of anemia, then I would get the iron supplements. If not, then you can just get the PNV that have extra iron in them. Sorry about the MIL drama. Something about grandchildren makes moms and MILs go crazy. I had my fair share of drama with MIL that hasn''t really stopped lol

Ves-
Congrats on just one!

Vesper- Yay! Congratulations! Any idea what caused the spotting?

Steph- Relish the alone time! This fall I will have 90 minutes 3x a week between drop offs and pick ups and I plan to get manis, gym, shopping!

Update on me:

Went to the OB this morning and the spotting that I had yesterday never really got heavier and has stopped since early this morning. She did an internal and when I asked if everything seemed normal, my OB replied "Sure, you''re just very small"
33.gif
I''m not sure if she meant early pregnancy or my cervix was opened but just a little bit? Anyway, they drew my blood for my 2nd beta test and the results STILL aren''t back. Apparently the lab normally runs on a 4 hour turn around time for stat hcg tests, but today being Monday, they are in a 6 hour turn around time. They took my blood at 9am and it''s now 2:30 and nothing so far.

I''m still cramping but no more spotting. I''m just so confused and worn out at this point. I just want a solid yes or no as to what is going on.
15.gif
My OB wants my numbers to have gone up a bit more than doubled, so she wants them to be atleast 150. She mentioned doing a scan but I was so overwhelmed that I can''t remember why and when. As soon as I get the phone call, I will post what my new numbers are.

Feb- I am hoping so much that everyone turns out great! Please as soon as you get an answer let us know, I am praying for you and your bebe! Take care sweetie...

So sorry to hear Feb - keeping you and your DH in my thoughts. I started a pregnancy loss and TTC after miscarriage thread back in July: link
