Calling all the Pregnant PS''ers

Yippee for belly pic Friday!!

9.gif

I''m just here to encourage the showing of those growing babies! Still amazed at how very differently babies are carried. So interesting and wonderful.

Sapphire, how are you doing?

LL - Calvin is adorable!!! Thanks for sharing your story!!! Give him some hugs from all of us
5.gif

Mara - I never really got an energy boost either. The whole pregnancy it seems to have gone in waves, some days I wake up energized and somedays I just drag all day long!!!

Qti, I''m sorry to hear about the accident!! I hope the chiropractor helped!. Yay for being half way!!!!
36.gif

Phoenix, I have found that depending on who''s measuring me I always measure differently. Sometimes they say I''m 6 weeks ahead...and sometimes I''m only 3 weeks ahead. I decided not to ask anymore what I measure! lol

Kaleigh, Thanks for always stopping by!!....you''re so sweet!

Neat, I have tried to do reserach but all I find is that it''s normal to have a non-reactive tests...it could just mean the babies were not very awake during the test. What she showed me was that Baby A had "dips" in his graph and not a lot of "rises" which could signal a problem. The she said Baby B''s graph was great because he had high rises...but then she failed them both...
14.gif
. I only found out she failed them both until I was already in the ultrasound room so I didn''t get to aks the nurse why baby B ended up failing too. On Monday I get the second one and this one will be done at my regular OB office (I go to one at the peri''s and one at the regular Dr per week). We will see what happens but I''m definitely going to be asking a lot more questions then!. This time around I was a little nervous and freaked out so I really didn''t ask too many questions at all.

and since I seem to always kick off BPF, I''ll do it again!!!...I''m like a BPF addict...hehe

I took this yesterday, on my 32-week mark!. Since I had been looking forward to 32 weeks I was so happy so I tried to fit my happy face in the picture this time around! (I take these with the computer camera so it''s not that easy!!).

I was comparing the 28-week pic to this one and wow...
6.gif
there is no doubt the boys are growing!!!!

Here's my 20 week bump. I still feel like I don't look obviously pregnant yet. I just feel chunky. Can't wait to have a big bump so it is obvious....maybe in a few more weeks?

Mandi, you look awesome as always! I can't believe you have twins in that tiny belly!

week20bump.jpg

This is a pic from early this week. I''ve been swamped and haven''t had time to take and upload pics!

I''ll be 30 weeks on Sunday. Holy CRAP.

Yes-make sure to ask questions. I don''t mean to freak you out but a baby failing a NST can be nothing (which is likely) but obviously it can also be something. So make sure to have the doc explain to you what exactly is going on. And if they fail again make sure you talk to the doctor and not the nurse. And press him/her for info and more monitoring just to be on the safe side.

And try to drink some sugary juice (like apple or orange) like 1/2 an hour before the NST. It helps get the little buggers moving.

Here''s my BPF contribution. Just took this. I am 20w 1d today. I have a pretty good size bump already.

kiki_20w_bellypic.jpg

UPDATE: JUST got back from my weekly appt. I am now 1 1/2cm dialated and 90% effaced. Dr stripped my membranes to try and move things along (OUCH) not painful...but VERY UNcumfy lol. So HOPEFULLY that will kick things into high gear this weekend...But IF not... Im being induced MON 6:30am!!!!!!!!!!

Eeee Sapphire you''re so close! I hope your little one boogies on out soon!

You ladies have the cutest bellies ever! I love BPF!

Thanks Neat! If you have any good links with info, pass them along please

My dr had never measured my uterus. I am sure it''s nothing to worry about, but you''ll get to see your baby again.

Steph

beautiful bellies ladies!

I love BPF!

Mandy--
Like the others have said....you looked awesome and oh so tiny for 32 weeks w/ twins!
And I''m glad you kick off BPF, else the other preggos may not be as inclined to post.
Glad to hear that your boys are fine after the NT.
Keep on baking.

Steph--
Wow, you are 20 wks already?
Tiny tiny belly. That''s just like me w/ a full stomach after a hearty meal.

Amber--
What a perfectly round bump!
Sorry to hear about your back pain.
Hope you find some relief.

QT--
You really are all belly.
Looks like you just stuff a bump underneath your shirt.
So cute!
I''m still going for a boy, contrary to the mother''s intuition (which I usually think is right :)

Sapphire--
Woohoo.....you are so close.
Good luck to you.
And where is your belly picture?
Today is friday and this would your last belly picture since for sure your LO is coming by Monday.

Mara--
Welcome back and sounds like you had a great trip.
Can''t believe you are 20 wks as well.
Bump or no bump, I think a 20wk belly pic should be mandatory of all PS preggos here
5.gif

Puffy--
Pffth...that''s not huge.
Still so small for almost 25 wks.

Burk--
Yet another small belly.
You all look so great and cute

ok - yum just polished off some rice and beans and a cheese quesadilla.

btw, so baby has gone from punches to rolls across my belly... which is totally weird, but also cool to know that he's growing and running out of room. but about 10 mins after i eat it's like the nugget thinks he's doing me a favor by squishing my food up in my stomach for me... bleh... it makes me want to 'refund'. please baby... no rolling over mommy's quesadilla!

so, i have been (for the most part), totally content pg. it hasn't been my *favorite* thing i've ever done - and i'm definitely not one of those girls who 'loves' being PG - i'm casually indifferent.... until this week.... i think i'm finally getting to the point where i'd like to have him on the outside more than the inside, ya know? even if it means sacrificing my late night saturday dinners and just running off to the store if i need more tums ;).... it's finally getting uncomfortable.... and i gotta say, i'm a little relieved. i have been so content just having the bugger inside my tum - and aside from the peeing at night, i still could tie my shoes, bend over, clean the floors etc... um, yeah.. not so much.... i've even stopped (gasp) going to the gym ... i'm just spent... i think i'm getting ovah being PG :)

did i mention how cute everyone's bellies are?? they are! and gooooo sapphire goooo! QT!!! i'm guessing ummmmmm girl!

so this week at my apt my midwife kinda had this 'sit down' with me about my weight gain. i was totally taken aback.... i purposefully don't look at the scale b/c i don't want to KNOW how many lbs. i've gained. and as long as i'm eating (relatively) healthy and getting exercise i wasn't concerned. well she thought she should tell me that i was going to go over the 'recommended' weight gain.... by 5 stooopied lbs. i mean yes, i have already gained 33lbs but it's not like i've gained 100. anyhoo, i just wanted to vent about that.

i ordered a fancy schmancy camera and it's supposed to be delivered today, so i'm planning on taking good pictures of our finished nugget room! so exciting!

anyone care to do a little name ranking for me? DH and i have had the worst time going back and fourth with names.... he hates what i like, and he doesn't suggest any.... anyhoo... what are your thoughts on the following.

(in no particular order - and i take no offense to any comments - middle name is Joseph)

Leo
Carter
Wesley
Miles
Samuel (Sam)
Elliott
Charles (Charlie)
Colin

viz 34 weeks.

eta - gosh, i just re-read that... i'm totally scattered brained, sorry - that post was hard to follow... even for me

me again.. old navy is having a baby and maternity sale - good deals on maternity clothes....

also, britax is having a big sale on their car seats.

does anyone read babycheapskate.com - it''s an awesome blog!

over and out.

haha i am bad about these pictures... i only have taken 2 pics of myself (~15 weeks and this week), so here is the one i took 2 days ago to send to greg's family. my gal told me i should be taking more photos so i can do the whole collage thing and show the baby how i grew, but i am just not that organized i guess. plus i feel like the changes up until now are so minimal, it's when you see the 30+ ones you are like kablooie...big differences.

viz, i like Carter Joseph the best i think. i like Leo but not with Joseph. I like Wesley, it works well with Joseph, so that would be my 2nd. I have a good friend whose dog is Elliott so unfortunately i can never think of anything but. I like Miles as well, Miles Joseph.

does anyone else have a really hard time with boys names?? while i didn't have a lot of girls names selected, i hear a lot of them that i think i could like. but boys are another matter...i like hardly any of them for our bean. some seem great for other kids, like it just fits....but for us, not yet.

viz, burk, and puffy you guys look just wonderful!

mara 19point5 weeks.jpg

Puffy, Burk, Viz and Mara...CUTE CUTE bellies!!!!! I love all the tiny bellies...it''s crazy to think that in just a few more weeks you guys will pop!

Viz, you crack me up..definitely scattered post but since we''re all on the same boat here I am ure we all were able to follow!. I love Carter, Samuel and Colin!!

Mara, I agree with you...boys names are VERY hard. Girls name can be "cute" and that''s ok...with boys there''s just much more to think about!!!
