Calling all the Pregnant PS''ers

mr jcrow here again.

she delivered our baby girl early this morning around 1:45 am, everything went well and her and the baby are happy and healthy. I know jcrow will want to share all of the details and pics herself, but she wanted to make sure that you all knew how much your prayers and "dust" helped her.

i too want to thank all of you for being there for us.

more to come!

Congratulations jcrow and mr jcrow! So excited for you! Can''t wait to hear the details and see pictures!

Can''t wait to see your little angel

HI!

I am just floating around in the Barely PG Ps''ers thread. Just wondering for you ladies already in the deep end

how often your DH''s came to your OB appts? I know if I asked, my DH would come to any one I asked him to, but I definitely don''t expect him to come to every single uneventful one. Did your DH come to the first one? Or just when there were US''s? Just seeing what you considered ''can''t miss'' appts. Thanks!

Hi Ladies!

SomethingShiny - I''m sending you and your baby girl mounds of dust for a positive outcome! I forget who said it earlier, but I agree with the poster who said that the fact she is so active is a very good sign. Here''s hoping that she will only continue to improve from here on out!

Fisher - thank you so very much for the well wishes!!!!! Sorry for being MIA for a while, but like you said on the TTC regarding your breark for Lent, the break was good.

You have been such a great source of positive energy and a strong shoulder to lean on! I KNOW you will be joining us on this thread VERY shortly and when you do, I''ll be here to give you a great, big cyber-hug!!!

jcrow - congrats! looking forward to pics and the story!

Somethingshiny - sorry you''re dealing with arrhythmia stuff. Much dust that it resolves on its own soon!

Split_Shank - I think my DH came to my IVF consult ad consent sessions, retrieval and transfer. Then he came for the ultrasounds visits (missed the first OB doppler heartbeat one as he was out of town, and missed the surprise anatomy scan) and the consult appointment with the high-risk OB when we ran into complications. Hek, I even let him stay home and sleep when I went to the ER to find out what was with my contracions at 16 weeks. Other women have their DHs present at every visit.

PB- Welcome Miles Henry!!!

Can't wait to hear about your labor and find out the little one's name! Funny thing is I was looking at the date today and thinking, April 7 is a great date, someone needs to have a baby today! Guess that was you.

MonkeyPie- What are you still doing here?
3.gif
Go sit on a ball and bake at the same time. I feel you, O was 10 days late and it seemed like an eternity. The only thing I know for sure is Micah WILL show up one of these days. Can't wait to see his little face! Good luck!

Meresal- Are you next?????

ETA: SomethingShiny, keeping you and your little one in my thoughts. Hope you have good news next week.

ETAA: I love that Mr. Jcrow also wrote in all lowercase, just like JCrow!

Congrats Mr and Mrs (and baby!!) JCrow!

Congrats to jcrow and mr jcrow on the arrival of their precious little girl! Can''t wait to hear the details.

And another CONGRATS PB on baby Miles! He is soo precious. It sounds like he is doing well for a preemie and hopefully he will be out of the NICU soon.

The April babies are anxious and making early arrivals, it seems! They don''t want to be left out of the diamond birthstone month, of course.

YAY for all the April Babies!!! Does it get much better than the DIAMOND birthstone??? I know I use it as my excuse to get new diamonds that "It''s my birthstone..." I remember growing up and my dad buying presents for my mom, sister and I as I am april 19, sister is april 20 and mom is april 24... He went broke one year as it was my "sweet 16", my sisters "Golden Birthday" and moms "Big 40th Birthday"

Anyway..

CONGRATS Jcrow and Mr. Jcrow!!!! Can''t wait to see pics of the LO and hear the birth story!

Congratulations Jcrow Family! I am so excited for you all, and can''t wait to here your story!

My DH came to every appointment until we found out the gender. He also works for a family company so he didn''t have to use vacation time for the 1 or 2 hours that he was gone. I just wanted to make sure he was there in case they were able to tell us the gender early. My OB looked at the baby at almost every appointment I had up thru my 22 week anatomy scan.

MP- How are you doing today??

SS, DH came to my 8 wk apt, my NT Scan (12 wks) and will come to the anatomy scan on the 22nd. Basically, just the u/s visits. My monthly appointments are literally 5-10 minutes, I spend more time in the waiting room. It would be a waste for him to leave the office for that unless he had some reason to be there like wanting to talk to the doc himself.

April Aries' are the BeSt!!!! I'm biased though...

BTW, the whole diamond birth stone thing has totally spoiled me in life. I had a diamond solitaire ring in hs because it was my birth stone. It was only worn on special occasions and always on my right hand!

MP, how's it shakin' lady??

ETA: My sources are currently working on getting us an update on MP soon. Last I heard she was having contractions off and on but consistently, so who knows.

Congratulations to Prettyblues - beautiful photo of little Miles!

Congratulations to Mrjcrow and jcrow! Look forward to meeting your little girl!

S_S - DH came to the first appointment, the NT scan and the anatomy scan. He was so badly behaved at the first appointment (sat and read the newspaper the whole time and was monosyllabic) I wouldn't let him come to others. I had a hideous number of appointments though so he could never have taken the time off - plus other than the scans, they're pretty boring.

Coming back to report that Aimee (MP) is IN LABOR!! She's on hour 13 and is a trooper!

ETA: She's currently laboring at home.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Jcrow on the arrival of their sweet baby girl! Can''t wait to see pics and hear her story!!

And GOOOOOOOOOOO MP!!!! Best of luck for a quick and easy delivery....little Micah owes that to you after staying in there for so long!! :)

Question about stretch-mark cream/lotion. Anyone use it? Anyone recommend one? Is it even worth it?
I''ve heard vitamin E oil is good to use on scars. I''m pretty prone to stretch marks and would love to do just about anything I can, as soon as necessary, to at least minimize them. I''d much rather be proactive than reactive in this situation :)

Can't wait to hear the story and see some pics. Take care!

Yay for labor MP, good luck!

Charbie, WELCOME to the big girls thread
3.gif
I believe stretch marks are mostly genetic. I got them in puberty and anticipate I'll get them in pregnancy
40.gif
. Cream can't hurt but don't go crazy with guilt or anything. I've noticed some weird skin dryness on my belly and legs, must pregnancy related and I just try to moisturize.

DH has been coming to my appts (except one I wanted to ask about girl-stuff) but he thinks its part of being supportive? I'd be OK with him just coming to the biggies (ultrasounds and first one and such) but it is kind of sweet that he's coming to all of them that he can - come summer he woln't be able to but thus far he's been to all but the one. I also hope that he will hear stuff and remind me later when I ask paranoid questions; he hasn't been asking too much at any of them though.

Go MP! Good luck! Can''t wait to meet Micah!

Charbie, ditto Cara, they''re genetic. If you''re predisposed you''ll get them. Cream won''t do much to prevent them, but it will sooth your itchy and overstretched skin making you less uncomfortable and prone to scratch. I believe excessive scratching of the area can make them worse. I''ve had them for years on my hips, lower back and boobs so I totally expect to get them while pregnant.

MP - Hooray!!! Dust to you!!

Awww...couldn''t you all have just humored me...even for a little bit?!
3.gif

My mom calls her belly a roadmap from the marks. Well crap. Badge of honor I guess.

go MP... !!! hope things are going as well as can be expected..!

jcrow congrats...can''t wait to see pics and hear the story. hope you are healing ok! get the ice undies!

Split Shank: My husband went to every single appointment. He waited in the waiting room for the Strep B test....but other than that...he was at every single one.

Yay MP---hope it''s a speedy labor !!!

Congrats Jcrow, looking fwd to the details!

Bring on the April babies!!!
