DH came to my 1st appt so he could meet my GYN. I then had to switch to an OB in my 2nd tri and he came to that 1st visit as well. He didn''t make it to my NT scan with my Peri (totally regrets it, but we didn''t realize that it was a "biggie", so plan ahead!). But he was there for the Genetic testing and 2nd tri u/s with my Peri, and he''s planning to be there tomorrow for my 3rd tri u/s and 3D/4D session. So yeah, he''s skipping the OB visits but is there for the u/s appts with my Peri.Date: 4/7/2010 4:41:26 PM

HI!
I am just floating around in the Barely PG Ps''ers thread. Just wondering for you ladies already in the deep endhow often your DH''s came to your OB appts? I know if I asked, my DH would come to any one I asked him to, but I definitely don''t expect him to come to every single uneventful one. Did your DH come to the first one? Or just when there were US''s? Just seeing what you considered ''can''t miss'' appts. Thanks!
YAHOO, for MP! Wishing you a smooth L&D.Date: 4/7/2010 8:15:37 PM

Coming back to report that Aimee (MP) is IN LABOR!! She''s on hour 13 and is a trooper!
ETA: She''s currently laboring at home.
I''ve been using The Body Shop''s Vitamin E body butter (pink tub) for the last 6 weeks or so, once the belly "appeared". I''ll be 29 weeks tomorrow and so far no stretch marks. I''ve still got time though...Date: 4/7/2010 8:50:56 PM

Question about stretch-mark cream/lotion. Anyone use it? Anyone recommend one? Is it even worth it?
I''ve heard vitamin E oil is good to use on scars. I''m pretty prone to stretch marks and would love to do just about anything I can, as soon as necessary, to at least minimize them. I''d much rather be proactive than reactive in this situation
Welcome ss! My DH came to every appointment during my last pregnancy and has gone to all so far during this pregnancy. His work schedule is very flexible. I was nice to have company and share the experience with him.Date: 4/7/2010 4:41:26 PM

Ditto! I''ve used the same one through my entire pregnancy, and no stretch marks. I also wanted to mention that I got stretch marks on my breasts and hips during puberty, but I never got a single one on my stomach through either of my pregnancies, so having them elsewhere doesn''t mean that you''ll get them on your stomach.Date: 4/7/2010 11:24:33 PM

oh no! I''m sorry to hear. Do you know any other details? I wonder why they haven''t started pitocin since it''s been so long. I know it''s an evil drug but after 36 hours? I guess her water hasn''t broken.Date: 4/8/2010 5:12:39 PM
