Does anyone else''s family also sing and play instruments on Christmas Day? Carol singing to piano has always been part of our Christmas, and in recent years the younger family members have been taking up cellos, violins, flutes, clarinets...and one baritone horn!

We do. My brother plays the viola in the symphony and my dad''s a jazz pianist/college professor. My sister has a degree in music performance so the caroling becomes a very nice concert

Our younger family members are just starting to be able to play things other than what''s mandatory for school so this year should be a lot of fun.

sometimes Greg plays common Christmas songs on the saxaphone at the family get together!

Hi

I bought Chris Isaak''s Christmas Album last night! We played it in the lab today and even some of the hard core "I hate Xmas Music" guys and gals, loved it!

I just had to update this thread and let ya''ll know that my fabulous hubby got me the Mariah Carey and Ella Fitzgerald CD''s that were recommended here multiple times...woo hoo. This thankfully rounds out the Christmas Music purchases for 2005! Thanks for all the great recommendations here!!

I love his, "Wicked Game", but cannot imagine what his Christmas music would be like!
