Hmmmmm? Gee, I wonder??? Spinels perhaps???
LOL. Too easy, huh?
Two of them are a matched pair. The other is slightly larger. I still don''t know what to do with them.

My first Richard Homer concave cut stone!

A different angle.

Blue Zircon?

Blue zircon?
Edit: Haha, you beat me to it by a second!

P.S. I recognize the amethyst carving from gemline, very cool :)

I vote blue zircon as well.

You can mail them to me!

Three winners: RFT, MTG and TL!
It''s a 3 ct square cushion blue zircon cut by Richard Homer. I''ve seen other concave cuts but his is the finest. It has a different quality to it.

I like it if it''s free!

This is one of my earlier purchases so the quality and colour isn''t as fine but I think the shape/outline is very unique. One of these days, I''ll set it with my other pear shaped concave aqua in a pendant.

pink tourmaline?
BINGO!
At the rate everyone is going, I''ll run out of stones to post tomorrow.

A new colour palette; a matching pair of rounds.

Orange spessartite garnets. I''m guessing all of them because I want to see more!

Right again.

You sure are funny, TL.

This ring is very old; it was passed down from my late great grandmother. It originally contained a colour change sapphire but it was damaged beyond repair, so I replaced it with this stone. It''s a very rich 22kt gold.

Garnet? Very pretty ring, and I''m sure it''s priceless to you.

This picture shows the detail on the shank. This was handmade so there are some unevenness here and there but to think it''s all done by hand! I wonder how long it took...

No, not a garnet. Thanks, yes, the ring means a lot to me. At first I could not decide what I wanted in there. I looked around for a tsavorite then decided green isn''t really suited with yellow metals. It was harder too because I was constrained by the setting size.

HI:

Were those moonstone earrings from Barbara (AC Stones)??

cheers--Sharon

Ruby?

Yes, I heemed and hawed about it for the longest time then when they finally went on sale, I jumped.

I figured with the setting and all, it''s good price compared to if I hunted down moonstones myself and then set them. I was so happy that the quality of moonstones are so fine. I get compliments every time I wear them.

Righty! I guess my being a fan of red spinels make this an easy guess. That''s my AJS stone.

This might be a head scratcher because the colour isn't right in the picture. My camera could not catch any details nor capture the true colour.
