You just made it easier for me to tell people about the unreasonable amount of very pleasant and rewarding time I spent on this forum.

This must be the good place to remind that I am not an expert and this forum is the one and only connection I ever had with the jewelry business. Worse still, outside Pricescope I am definitely not known for paying allot of interest to jewelry - my long standing passion for it has been completely absorbed and hidden ... by this forum. All for the better, of course - can you imagine this flow of posts transformed into, say, water cooler chatter in some social science research institute? For this, I'd need to be working on some real-world research project related to internet forums/Picescope itself - very welcome, relatively popular, but not likely.

In the meantime, 'guess I'd need some help with a long list of thanks - please feel free to imply the missing points would have been included if limited inspiration hadn't been in the way.

I have many to thanks to give indeed: to Leonid and Irina for this wonderful side of their enterprise (and the Haiku!, and the gift, and their help along the way...), to you all for incredible friendship and support so totally out of the blue!, to every professional on this forum for aiding and abetting my amateurish rambling. Sometimes logging into the 'Colored gems' forum does feel like waiting in line for an autograph by your favorite author! And lucky me, some actually log in too and the forum feels better than a book launch.

About the 10k post present: it has arrived safely some days ago. I have no plans for its usage, but I strongly doubt it will turn into a piece of jewelry. A trip is more likely: the next couple of weeks are unusually busy and looking forward to a break afterwards helps. Mara, I hope this is not too disappointing ...

What can I say, this forum is unbelievable - where on Earth else could one possibly expect cheering for writing one million words worth of random thoughts about jewelry of all things?
