I just went out in a BLIZZARD to get a contract signed. Never went over 15 mph the whole way to the client''s house and back. And damn cold too. Why do I live here?!?
LOL -- perhaps a medal of *craziness*! Anything to get the deal done...Date: 1/29/2008 11:44:35 PM

It was 50 at noon, and dropped off to 10 right after sunset. We've had a blizzard most of the day. The snow started coming pretty good around 3pm.
It's actually so windy that my 2 year old is STILL not asleep. And, it's 11:12 pm as I sit here. I've been trying to put him to bed since 8. He's usually a great sleeper, but it's so windy and noisy that he's a bit upset. I just laid him back down after having some milk and cookies. We listened to the windows shake and watched all the snow blowing outside. Maybe he'll finally sleep...
Or a "badge of bling" perhaps??Date: 1/29/2008 11:51:25 PM

I''m in northern Indiana and we had the same thing...it was 50 degrees and pouring rain at 7:30pm last night. I went down to work on the computer for about an hour and came back up about 8:30 and it was snowing. Crazy. All the schools in my area are closed due to the cold...-30 windchills. Makes no sense to me for my son''s private school because all those kids are dropped off within 15 feet of the door...it''s not like they are out standing at bus stops. I still have to come to work and on no school days I have to drive my son to my parent''s house 25 miles away on country roads...school is only 5 miles away on nicely salted/sanded city streets. Grr.

Well, it sounds like the cold front is affecting a lot of you! Weather really is amazing. My son is loving all this crazy stuff, he wants to be a meteorologist. He''s already alerted me to the 6 inches of snow they''re predicting by Friday noon.
Sharon, I really DO feel for ya. Here, have some hot coffee......Well hell, I can''t find that silly coffeee cup emotie. Forget it, have one of these, same thing.
