Lol silly goose. I don''t have any new pictures. But I will say that it''s one of the last two stones that I posted. So either the sapphire from mystery cutter or the spinel from Barry.

Would revealing the mystery cutter make you feel better?

I should mention that Peter is cutting the prettier color of rough for me. I kind of talked him into an emerald cut, so if it turns out amazingly, that could end up being the ering stone.

In other news FF really really liked the Dan round. But who wouldn''t? It''s amazing.

YES to the bolded.
And YAY for Peter stones! He has a bunch of new ones on his stream and they are so pretty.

Have to admit I am pretty curious about the mystery cutter too. I can''t think of anyone else who hasn''t been mentioned already!

WELL???!?!?!?! You are such a tease!!!

When do we get to find out which stone is the ONE!?!?!?!

ETA: And yes, do reveal your mystery cutter! That sapphire is AMAZING and I know someone who might be interested in it if you go with a different stone.

Yeah Peter''s purple round spinel was potentially meant for me. However, we both decided it was too purple and not blue enough.

And the mystery cutter is:

Richard Homer!

Wow. No wonder I like it so much--he''s my favorite ;)

OMG! I never would have guessed! I also love your new spinel, it''s a perfect purple and not too dark. Love the rainbow fire.
can''t wait to see what you pick for your main stone.
BTW I like the two ring idea. It''s nice to have an alternative around.

Wow, never would have guessed either! Too cool... he certainly does great traditional faceting too. I can''t wait to hear what you''ve decided

misspinky, innerkitten, and icekid Hee hee hee, I figured no one would guess him because of the no concave thing and me having to mess up his pictures a bit.

Today I woke up and FF came into the bedroom (he wakes up earlier than I do) and he told me that when the stone gets here he''s going to look at it, and if it meets his approval and he knows that I''ll like it, then he''s not going to show me. If he looks at it and decides he doesn''t like it or he''s unsure if I will, he''ll show it to me and we''ll go from there. However, I''m not worried about it, because I''ve seen quite a few pictures of the stone, and I''m certainly not worried about the cut of the stone. Or the clarity for that matter. So color is the determinant.

And I''m really looking forward to what Peter comes up with.

Heck, I could end up with 3 engagement rings! (Yeah right, but...you never know.)

Hey, you have a lot of possible stones here, it sounds like it would be better if you DON''T get to see the richard homer stone in person

Lol. All in good time...

You ssssssssnake

Ohhhhhhh, isn't he the one that does the snowflake cut? ::::shrugs:::::

If I got that right, I consider myself a graduate of PS 101 and looking forward to 102.

Yes! Richard Homer does cut the topaz snowflakes!

So what''s in 102? Hardness? Stone cut flaws? Types of inclusions? Desirable colors?

(Maybe Pandora should be in charge of curriculum.)

3 engagement rings would be great, Freke!

I think I have the "hardness" covered....I definately need work on flaws and inclusions.

Harriet Now wouldn''t that be fun? Of course only one would be "real" but then I''d have a lot of variety and choice, and they would all take less of a beating than they would otherwise...

Miracles-- Freke has a dirty mind...

Exactly. Can you please tell this to my hubby?

Hahahahaha!!!! What else would you like to wear on your left ring finger dear Harriet?

An OMC and an asscher. Think you can help me?

Hahahah!! So instead of color you''re going for shape? Nice!

How would you like me to help?

I''ve always liked the two cuts, but I got sidetracked by coloured gems. Ok, detoured.

You could bake him an Ispahan!

He''s a fan of the Ispahan as well?
31.gif

Oh, yes.

Muahhahahahahahaha!!!!

I heard from the cutter, and as soon as we can get the money to go through, he''s going to ship the gem out to us!

YIPPEE!!!!
