Do you WORDLE?

tough day for me today. Both Wordle and Wordle 2 in 5......
and yes, we lost the stats for Wordle 2 but I understand why.

My DD introduced me to Wordle about a month ago. I use the same first word each time and it has helped me more times than not. She says I should change it up, but can never decide which word to start with, so I am sticking with what works best and have been guessing correctly lately after 3 tries and at the most 4.

I enjoy changing up my starting word, just for the heck of it. A week or so ago I used the same word on Wordle archives - chest - for about six days in a row. It turned out to be a good starting word (average 3.5) but not as much fun for me, so I continue to change it up on Wordle. Then a few days ago (yesterday?), “chest” was the word of the day on Wordle! I’d have had it in one if I’d continued that strategy! Oh well…

I like that there are many different ways to play this game, and that it’s never the same no matter how you approach it!

I enjoy changing up my starting word, just for the heck of it. A week or so ago I used the same word on Wordle archives - chest - for about six days in a row. It turned out to be a good starting word (average 3.5) but not as much fun for me, so I continue to change it up on Wordle. Then a few days ago (yesterday?), “chest” was the word of the day on Wordle! I’d have had it in one if I’d continued that strategy! Oh well…

I like that there are many different ways to play this game, and that it’s never the same no matter how you approach it!

How crazy you used “chest” and then it was word of the day! My cousin uses random first words. Used “ankle” once because his ankle was injured on a run. He also guesses in hard mode where each consecutive guess must use the previous letters highlighted in green or yellow.

So you all have gotten me hooked on both Wordle and Quordle. I actually LOST Wordle one day recently because of the stupid so-many-options-strategy they use sometimes. Give me a word like "crypt" any day!

I actually use the same word everyday that has three vowels including the most frequent one for English. I'm not sure why, but I really enjoy this strategy! I've gotten it in two tries a few times, most of the time it's 3-5, and I think I completely missed it twice.

The only way I could share them and show was to do it on my phone. Then I'd hit "share" and choose text, and then do a screen shot of my text. I can't do any sharing from my desktop computer, not matter what browser I use.

Narrowly beat DH in today's Scrabble game. Neither of us made bingo/long words, but I thought it was cute that we definitely had hiking/wildlife watching on our brain (I was pleased to have supplied "mice", "toad", "koi" and "sei"! Lol).

A bit cumbersome but works for me, since I usually do Wordle on my desktop and I don't use Twitter (I think many people recommend doing a Twitter post and taking a screenshot).

I love this and your hiking theme. Hubs and I play scrabble too. I get a thrill when we use all our tiles, build off of existing words, and score close to 300 or over. So is “meh” a Scrabble legal word? Because I’m going to use that next time if needed!
