Thanks, everyone!! Our photographer said we should have the rest of the photos by the end of this week, so I might have a few more to share later :)

For those who were curious, the shoes were from a Nine West outlet. I was really stressing over what I was going to wear for the photos and how I didn''t seem to have any interesting shoes, and then I happened to find these the day of the e-session and snatched them up!
 
These are great--I love it all! The trenchcoat, the Vespa, the fallen leaves--you two are a great looking couple! Really nice shots!

You have a great photographer. You both look very natural and unrehearsed. I love the backdrops, especially the brick front. Something you would find in a print ad.

I actually like the one you didn''t seem to like. Very expressive. But they are all grea!

I have to ask, was this film or digital?

I love the kitty shot, and I think one of the coolest ones actually focused on the two of you is the one sitting on the stairs where you''re both looking into the camera. Awesome picture.

Lillers, always nice to find another Chicagoan on the board! We actually live in Lakeview now (where the initial photos were taken), but I wanted to go to Wicker Park for the majority of our photos as that''s where I lived when FI and I met (we actually first met at the Empty Bottle, which is where the photobooth picture was taken) and I just love the variety of scenery around there. I wanted a more "personal" location rather than the typical Lake Michigan/Michigan Ave/Millennium Park photos, although my one regret is that we weren''t able to get a good shot of the skyline on the el platform b/c it got too cloudy by the time we got up there

But yeah, there are so many great backdrops to use in that neighborhood, I''m really glad we went there

sugary, thanks so much! Yes, I''m really happy we decided to go w/ this photographer. He was really easy to work with and gave us a lot of suggestions for what to do during the photos. All of the pictures were taken w/ a digital camera (I think it was a Nikon, but don''t quote me on that).

I''m eager to see how the rest of them turned out, especially the ones where we were holding him (or trying to) :) Unfortunately our girl cat got scared and hid under the bed the whole time, so we didn''t get any pictures with her

Side note: I love-love the kitty in your avatar/icon thing. I''ve been meaning to say that for a while :) That''s the cutest little kitty face I think I''ve ever seen!! I have a little grey & white guy myself, so I may be a bit partial to ''em :)
