EMERALD CUT, ENOUGH FLASH/LIGHT PERFORMANCE?

I didn't know that was an issue, what would be the minimum you would go?

Talk to your ring maker, but I consider 2mm and sometimes 2.2mm to be my min.
Every .1mm counts.
1.7 to 2mm is 17.64% wider, more stable and stronger.

@Saints91 that’s a nice setting for your emerald cut and will look lovely with the addition of the little side diamonds!
My current setting is 2mm wide and it still looks very dainty. I would worry more about damaging it if it were even narrower. I try to remove it when doing yard work, housework , heavy lifting, etc, but sometimes life just happens!

Thank you Scon_ce! When I meet with my jeweller at the end of the month I’ll weigh my options with the band. Ya, we just want to make sure it looks dainty but I can’t see how .25 of a mil will change the look much. Durability is important as well
