My favorite website to look at dresses is Brides.com. They have a ton of pics. You should go to the Reem area and narrow it down to the most recent season, Fall 08. Here are a few that I pulled...

OH! I love this too!

Thank you for that site!! So many pics that I haven''t seen before. Yes, I think I will have to clear my schedule to the R A trunk show. Thanks a million!

If I had to pick a dress today, I would definetly pick the Reem acra I tried on. But since I have sooo much time and am having a ball trying on dresses, why not keep playing?!

I think that how YOU feel is most important. If you love the dress and feel great in it then its a winner.

That said, I do like when people take advantage of their natural gifts and show off a nice figure. There are dresses that are flowy and also a bit form fitting. Below is one example. I think you would look great in something that hugs your body a little more.

But if you really love the Reem then go for it. Its beautiful.

Oh BTW, I totally know what salon you are in. I have been there several times. I really love it. I'll probably get my dress there.

I got really good vibes- my first time there. It a beautiful place with classy salespeople.
And thanks for the suggestion- I was thinking the same thing. But when I actually tried on two very similar styles they just made me look squatty. For some reason when the waist drops a bit more, it was not flattering on me at all.
That salon is exaclty where I bought my dress! I love that place, it is VERY classy indeed. They have that cool February deal where if you buy your dress on the first visit you get free alterations.

I love the very first dress you posted. You looked fantastic in it. I''ve always had a thing for empire waist as well...I''ve never once felt like I wasn''t sexy in one and never had a man tell me anything less either

So you are 2 for 2 ... I drool over your engagement ring every time I see your avatar and now I''m loving your first dress choice.

Simply put, you''ve got fantastic taste my dear

That is exactly the kind of dress I want! I love empire waists to death (my friend says I''m channeling my inner ballerina, we''re both modern dancers

) and they have that sexy but understated feel, to me at least. Plus it makes toned shoulders and arms look great! I love em!!

~Violet- Glad you have good reviews about the salon too. It was really the first place so far that I have felt totally comfortable/.
~Keepingthefaith- Thanks for chiming in and for the compliments!
~Sunnyd- I feel like I am channeling my inner ballerina too! This is actually really similar to the style of several costumes I had for my modern dance classes in high school / college. I also liked a lot of the "tulle" dresses I tried on b/c they reminded me of my dancing days!

I really have good vibes about this dress and have been thinking about it a lot in the past few days. I''m going to try on a couple more tonite (Enzoanni) and then to a Cymbeline trunk show this weekend. (I really liked a couple of their designs).
If I don''t see anything there I like better, this may be the one!

Don''t forget to take pics!

BTW, I love the Reem Acra. I think it''s gorgeous!

This is a little off topic, I know...but PBS''s Masterpiece (formally Masterpiece Theatre)is running a series of Jane Austen movies on Sundays at 9pm. This upcoming Sunday is the last installment of the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice. It may be a good resource for hair, romantic accessories, etc. if you end up with dress #1. By the way, I tried it on and loved it...but my figure didn''t.

But I do love the empire on you, though! Very romantic and lovely.
