Engagement ring on a budget...need some help

Request an ASET image...the table is a bit to big for me but if the GF likes it thats what counts.

I would drop the color/clarity and see whats available.

I'm sorry I keep seeing people telling me to request an ASET image. This is my first time here, and I have no idea where to do this. Do I do it through James Allen's site, or through a third party site? Thanks

I notice a lot of darkness in the centers of these diamonds, is that just because the light is hitting it straight on and the other angles are reflecting better?

Keep in mind that princess cuts face up smaller than other cuts of the same size. I would drop down in color and clarity to make the most of your budget. I think you could easily do an H VS2/SI1 and likely an I(maybe J) SI2 (you would have to check that an SI2 is eye clean).

There is no reason to go over your budget, you can still get a nice stone. When we say request asset images, you call JA and ask them to inspect the diamonds to make sure they are eyeclean, and tell them you want asset images. These images will help you see their light performance. Their gemologist will also tell you which one performs the best. They will only do this on three diamonds.

These would be the ones I would choose

And to bring something different to a traditional solitaire I would see if they could set it like this
