It is that time again ( methinks

) to have another chat about perfume! So what are we all currently wearing and enjoying, or have discovered?

Here is last year''s thread - https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/fave-signature-scent-or-scents-2007.66243/

I am still loving Caron Tabac Blond in the parfum extrait...sigh....
30.gif
Also I am still wearing Frederick Malle Lipstick Rose, Caleche by Hermes and I am awaiting a decant of Guerlain Vol de Nuit parfum, looking forward to that one.

Recent scrubbers.....Guerlain L''Heure Bleu smells terrible on me, also does Jicky, which is a shame, I was hoping these two classics would work - oh well, can''t win them all in perfumery!

I am loving ANYTHING basically by Jo Malone....My 2 favorites right now are the Pomegranate and the Orange Blossom (sometimes even mixed together). Its just such a fresh, clean smell that I love for spring/summer!

Bryant Park by Bond No. 9

for guys... Wall Street, also Bond no 9.

I am still wearing my "Casual" all the time. After a few years, I still get compliments from strangers on it. I did pass a pretty bottle in Macy''s the other day, and sprayed meself. It turned out surprisingly subtle and lovely on me, something I rarely find. I might actually get some of this and stray from my signature scent. *gasp*

I won''t even attempt a "flowery" description, as it would surely pale in comparison to yours Miss Lorelei. I''ll just copy and paste.

Lancôme TRÉSOR L''Eau De Toilette Spray

This new fragrance brings together the essence of love with a hint of laughter. An exhilarating accord of Apricot Rose and Lilac represents a light and airy interpretation of Trésor, for the lighter side of love. L''eau de toilette is an invigorating fragrance form designed to give a subtle but lingering suggestion of scent.

Oooh - fun thread!

I''ve been wearing EA Red Door off and on for years, and I always get compliments on it from strangers. Problem is, I don''t know if I care for it personally! I like Sung fragrances. I''ve also been experimenting with samples and decants of various things, and I like one by Diptyque called Do Son. I have also been lucky enough to receive some BPAL (Black Phoenix Alchelmy Lab) decants - YUM!

I used to wear that back in the early nineties, I was always being stopped and complimented on it.

During the summer months I still wear Light Blue by D&G. The rest of the year I wear either Coco Mademoiselle, the original Prada or Angel by Thierry.

These days, I''m wearing L''Occitane Eau d''Azur.

Lately, though, I''ve been wanting to go back to my old, old favorite, Antonia''s Flowers. I''ll have to add that back into the rotation; it''s been years.

Profumo by Acqua di Parma - I wear it always.

I do have a couple of bottles of Cologne by Antica Farmacia Santa Maria Novella (I always go there when I''m in Florence) - I have Ginestra and Iris. I used them on sheets when I''m ironing. Is that a waste?

My favorites are Champs Elysees by Guerlain and Estee Lauder Pleasures. I also like Marc Jacobs and J''adore. I would love Light Blue if the cedar weren''t so prominent (on me anyway).

I recently had the DH pick up a bottle of Jo Malone Grapefruit and I am lovin that. And when in the States for our vacay I do plan to shop for fragrance and cosmetics--honestly it IS much cheaper across border than here (yes yes the dollar is equil, so what's up with that
33.gif
.....). I like the Lauder Tuberose GArdenia (afterall) and that is on my list for sure. I am convinced there will be ample choices in Beverly Hills

ETA: I went back to see what I was wearing last year, and I am totally off Bucheron! Still like the others and wear Black Orchid often as well.

cheers--Sharon

My favorite new one is "The One" by Dolce & Gabanna. It''s a light Oriental.

mummmm! wall street is SOOOO yummy!

i love it on dh!

I''m still wearing the scents I found in October 2006 on our honeymoon in London. For special occasions, I wear 1707 by Micallef, which comes in a day version and a night version. I love how subtle and complex these are on, and a little goes a long way, so the one bottle of each I got should last me until I make it back over the pond...

For everyday, I''m still loving my Annick Goutal Mandragore - its subtle and spicy.

I did get some samples of Jo Malone, and while I love them, unfortunately DH doesn''t. My two favorites are the lotus blossom and waterlily, and the nectarine and honey scents. They are lovely for very hot days because they are so light and subtle.

My absolute fav is Chanel Chance. It just has such a refreshing scent......I like to wear Emanuel Ungaro''s Apparition for evenings/special occasions.

My one and only scent is Ralph Lauren''s HOT! Love it, the rest of the fragrances are probably going rancid on my shelf.

I wish I could find ONE perfume that fits all occasions, but I can''t seem to! Although Tabac Blond is my grail, I also love the others I mentioned above, and I am now on a classic Guerlain crusade, very old perfumes appeal to me, ones with a history. I am narrowing the field somewhat now, Tabac Blond is my glamorous evening perfume, Lipstick Rose a fun and very " pink" perfume, Caleche is sharp and elegant, also I forgot Chanel No 5 is always a staple in EDP and parfum.

Ohhhh I love perfume!

I have several favorites.

L''eau D''Issey by Issey Miyake
Trish McEvoy #9 Blackberry w/Vanilla Musk
Laura Mercier - Marrons Glaces Eau Gormande (my current scent)

My holy grails are "For Her" by Narciso Rodriguez and "Flower Bomb" by Viktor & Rolf. I rarely stray from these two.

I always get stopped by random strangers asking what perfume I''m wearing.

It''s really time for me to branch out and fine new fragrances that I love. Thanks for all the leads!

My standards are Agent Provocateur and 1000 de Jean Patou.

I have Maitresse, too! The original is my fave, though. Oooooohhhh.... that Moroccan rose!

i''m in the same place i was in the 2007 scent thread... haha.
still looking for something new. still wearing chelsea flowers & chanel no. 5...

Bump - I will have some more perfumes to add soon!

Ooooooh! What fun!

My absolute favourite is Dior''s ''Hypnotic Poison'' - which has a fabulous exotic, spicy vanilla-based scent (that all men seem to lurrrrve!) and which I can''t get enough of.

I also love & wear Agent Provocateur and Chanel No 5. I still love Obsession, but only wear that in the winter as it''s such a lovely incense-y warm smell.

I love spicy and oriental smells - rarely wear very floral scents and never wear anything fruity.

My FI loves the smell of Body Shop''s White Musk (bizarre, I know but I think his first ever childhood g/f wore it!) so I sometimes wear it as a bit of a treat for him. ;)

He also really loves a perfume called "Two Hearts Beating as One" which is a stunning rose & jasmine scent he finds irresistible. Linky.

I''m inspired & going to have to go & put some more perfume on now!
