Here''s the second fabric for the underskirt. It will either be as is, or with a simpler pattern stamped into it. What do you guys think would be better?

That is just incredible! The white fabric is lovely and I really like the gold fabric as is, especially since it will only be the underskirt. Your gown is going to be gorgeous!

If anyone thinks they are totally awful and I will look like a walking sofa, please feel free to comment - I am looking for honest criticsm/comments. The fabric isn''t in production yet, so there is time to change things if a lot of people think it''s too strange!

Heh...looking like a walking sofa didn''t concern Queen Elizabeth I, but I really don''t think that''s going to be an issue! I think in the silk both fabrics will be perfect for your dress. I MIGHT go with the simpler design in the gold, but it''s hard to tell from the photos the relative sizes of the patterns.

Wow, Pandora! The trip sounds lovely, and now that I''ve seen the fabric, I absolutely love it! I think the first one will look amazing in silk, and I love the gold one as is, too.

On a sidenote, what part of Italy were you in? Hubby and I are planning on being in Italy in 2 weeks, so if you have any input, I''d love to hear it!
