This one is a wee bit blurry, but I like it because I think it is the first time I have ever captured all 8 arrows quite like this in a photo!

Trust me Lynn I think you've got this camera thing down pat! I have the same Canon and my shots are not nearly this good. Your ring is simply breathtaking and I love the fishtail pave setting!!! Thanks for posting more pics for us to drool over.

Last one for tonight. Thanks for looking!

Lyn,

I think the pics look great. When I resize pics, I use 600 x 400 dimension and 72 dpi.

I hate not being able to preview the pic before I post because you never know what it looks like until you hit ''submit''
23.gif

that's interesting lynn, i never change my resolution when i resize. mine are automatically 180.

i just hit resize, type in 550 or 600 for width, the height is automatic, i don't change anything else, and then it just comes out the way i want it to.

550/600 is kind of the max for PS, but i think you can see the arrows and details better that way. your pictures are a little small for me...hehee.

that one on the last page, the last one, TO DIE FOR. that is sooo my fave. you're getting it girl!!!!! isn't it FUN? and man your ring is just the BOMB.

3hearts, you can always view a picture with windows picture and fax viewer to get an idea of how it will look like on a screen not in photoshop.

oh PS....cleaned the ole rings this evening and i took some new photos, some came out pretty snazzy considering i have no flowers in the garden, i had to get more creative. hehee. i'll post some tomorrow!!! i want to see more from you too missy!!!

Lynn, you are a diamond picture taking wizard

They are so crisp. Love those arrow shots

Great arrow shots!

And I don''t change my resolution either.

Whew. Just read the thread from start to finish. It''s so facinating seeing the before (wax model) and after pics. Those leaf pictures are wonderful. Must be the green background or something. And you pastel picture is hypnotizing. Congrats on the rings. Love the pictures.

just catching up on the new pics...they are beautiful and your stone

WOW, whatmeworry -- thanks for reading through the whole thread! And thanks for the compliments on my rings and diamond!

Mrs. S... your reset will be WONDERFUL, and worth every day of the wait, I am sure. And I cannot WAIT to see what you finally choose!

No flowers in my garden, either, right now.

So today while I was folding laundry, (and a nice bright beach towel

) I had some inspiration!

Enjoy!

(FYI: these photos were taken with hubby's old Sony... I am still intimidated by my new Canon!

Just playing around and got this pretty shot

in front of an antique primitive cabinet that we have. I wish I would have cleaned the diamond before I took the picture, though... it''s awfully dirty!
