Quite disappointing indeed!
I’ll post photos, don’t give up on me please!
I’ve also gotten additional photos and videos of the 2 cabs. I’ll upload videos to YouTube and post links.
I look forward to it.

Yes, I’ve not had time to take photos but I’ll say that I’m not taken with the color. It’s quite light, more like an aquamarine. The seller’s photos must be a bit color enhanced.
I was afraid of this. But at least you know now and can rule it out!
Did you ever contact Jochen?
I did but haven’t gotten a response, I’ll try once again.
Did you do it through email or Instagram DM? Just curious. He's usually pretty responsive.
How do you feel about the two cab options now that you have more pictures?
Don’t want to be a party pooper, but I do not feel these cabs are Bright ice-worthy based on these vids and pics. You have such an excellent taste in stones and jewelry and I feel you will not be happy with these...
But more importantly: how do you feel about these yourself?
I sent an IG IM again. He just responded back, will get back with me Monday with inventory in my budget range.

Are you willing to share the vendor? I really feel like they enhanced the pics somehow, and I'd like to avoid this vendor.
Bright ice, color origin cannot currently be determined means:
As you probably know paraiba is usually heat treated. With some rare exceptions mined paraiba rough does not show the typical vivid blue green color until it has undergone heat treatment. The temperature required to induce the desired change in color can be pretty low. So low that the heat does not alter the inclusions within the stone which is why heat treatment in paraiba is difficult to detect with common gemological methods. That is why GIA and most other labs try to stay on the safe side and simply state color origin cannot currently be determined.
Ah, Jochen’s stones look promising. Could you request a side by side pic and video with the stones on his hand?
Good for you for doing your homework by reaching out to different vendors. I am convinced you will find your ‘Bright ice worthy’ Paraiba.
You are on a roll!! Are you comfortable with the pricing?
