M&Ms! I LOVE that one! So beautiful!

I need the link so I can bookmark it! lol!

It''s by Anjolique, it''s style number 912...I found it on TheKnot.com! Isn''t it gorgeous??
30.gif

Really, really stunning! Definitely goes on my top 10 list! I hunted it down and bookmarked it! Hehe!

Hopefully its still around in Fall 2010 when I actually get to wear it. :)

Wow is all I can say. Where did you find that?

Who, me? Which one? I found both on theknot.com...I think. I spend way too many hours there.

Whoa Freke!!! That dress!!!

Here''s my dream dress: at $4000 I think it''s a steal...
20.gif

Sunnyd, please tell me more about your dream dress because I
30.gif
it! That is exactly how I envision my dress!

Gwen, the 2nd dress you posted is gorgeous especially with those shoes

I also LOVE this dress but without the veil

I love this dress! And SO asked that it have a corset back (guys
20.gif
) and this one qualifies there, too.

ETA: It says it's attached but isn't showing up, hmph.

dress.gif

My BF asked would I wear a wedding dress with a low back. Not indecent or anything, but just with nothing across the back, like a halter neck looks from behind. He likes the look and I can see the attraction.

But, um, how do I hike up my 32E girls without a strap around the back? When I wear halternecks my neck has been known to bleed
23.gif
If I wear any of those bra converter things the bra falls off. Tit tape alone can't cope with what I've got going on! I need a strap around the back. I'm snookered!

Anyway I love this one (attaching a pic too) for the drama of it. It has the back thing BF likes. I wish I could think of a solution!!!

ETA - just noticed the link doesn't go straight to the dress - if you follow the link, click 'skip intro' (or watch it if you like!) and then in the menu system click on 'flounces'. It's the first dress - Babieca.

Delster, that dress is beautiful :)

my friend that recently got married has quite a large bust and small back and she went braless (was wearing a strapless dress) no problems the dress was actually (as I think most wedding dresses are) very structured and held her in well enough she did not have to worry, and you definitely could not tell. Otherwise a corset would be the perfect solution or even a really good strapless bra :) extra support if you feel you need it :).

Thanks for the compliment on the dress deelight! I don''t know if I could pull it off in real life though, all that drama! Something like the Casablanca reflects my style a bit more I think (when I see the Casablanca I think ''classic, elegant, sophisticated''), but I do have an inner drama queen and shouldn''t she get one day out?
31.gif

Actually that dress isn''t even as low in the back as BF likes and I do think I could wear a strapless or get away with the built-in support with it. I really can''t go without serious support though, just for the comfort factor! The dress will have to be seriously well made scaffolding-wise
2.gif

Lol Delster. I hear you on the scaffolding. I love that dress you posted though-it''s gorgeous!

(And how low would he like the back to be?)

Gwen: I really like that 2nd dress you posted.

I''m just scared of dresses that are too poufy. I''m 5''10'' -- I don''t need to make any more of a presence! I need very sleek things, much more flattering on me, IMHO.

Wish I could wear princess gowns and 4 inch heels! Sigh...
Lauren, I hear you! I''m 5''9" and pretty curvy (Delster, I feel you on the chest thing--I''ve got the 32DD girls goin'' on). My solution was just to find a ginormous guy--FF is 6''7".
9.gif

I know I''ve posted this before, but my absolute dream gown is the Augusta Jones below. The thought of spending thousands of dollars on a dress blows my mind, though, so I will probably end up with something else.
20.gif
Oh well, a girl can dream, right?

Ladypirate:

Wow. That dress is GORGEOUS! I love it! Luckily, my chest can be easily tucked away in pretty much anything. :) And FF is only about 5''11", so I don''t want to overpower him.

I plan to find the cheapest dress that I can! All that extra money can go to top shelf booze -- now you know where my priorities are! lol.

LOL--it''s ok, I''ve already declared I''m forgoing flowers, having a cheap gown, making my own cake and hitting up our photog friends for pictures so that most of our budget can go toward awesome food and wine. LOL.

I do love that dress, though--I guess I''ll just have to hope some bride decides to sell a used one on ebay. In my size. And since it''s a british designer, I''m not sure exactly what my size is. Darn it!

I kind of like this (if the link doesn''t work, it''s the Lourdes dress):
http://www.watters.com/product.php?coll=brides&showid=869

Also kind of like this though I never envisioned myself in a pickup style dress:

And this:

Man, my taste is ALL over the place, huh?

But every time I browse online, I end up choosing different dresses/different styles. I think trying them on will be a huge learning experience.

I''m beginning to think I''m the only one here with super-dominican-have their own orbit-hips
38.gif

Absolut...those dresses are amazing. I love them all. I say you buy all and change randomly throughout the ceremony...keep everyone on their toes.

The beautiful dress (

) Ladypirate posted would be very much to his liking
2.gif
But I have no idea how I would hold the girls up in a style like that. Sewn-in cups and tit-tape just won't cut it for me. Seriously, the first thing I reach for in the mornings (after my glasses) is a bra! Even just walking around is uncomfortable without a serious, underwired, properly fitting bra
20.gif

Ladypirate, to convert US clothes sizes to UK sizes, just add 4. So a US size 12 is a UK size 16 (most common dress size over here). Your infamous size 0 is a UK size 4. It's a rough guide but it's fairly accurate, and once you get in the general ballpark you can have the alterations fairies work miracles!

What do you plan to do for scaffolding?
33.gif

ETA - fiery believe me, I've got super Irish hips to match these super Irish 'girls'

No, I have big hips too. They''re a full 10 inches bigger than my waist (too bad my bust doesn''t match my hips!). That''s why all of my preconceived notions will probably go flying out the window as soon as I actually try dresses on!

Hey akmiss! It''s Lazaro, style 3818. Ahhhh it is my love.

Me too! What is it about em? I told FF that we''re gonna have to get married 6 times so I can wear all the dresses I love! LOL...

LOL! We''ve been planning a renewal of our vows for the last 5 years.
20.gif
I already have the new dress but it doesn''t stop me looking! This one was a hot contender for a while - I love the formality of it. WOW!

Can''t pick up a pic - here''s the link though:

Irish...that dress is beyond beautiful. Would it be rude if I wore that to a wedding...not my own??

LOL at the alterations faries! I have enough trouble with US sizes (thanks to the girls--I'm usually a 6 in the waist/hips and a 10-12 in the chest!
20.gif
) I think I'd just have to try it on in person to figure out what size I'd actually need.

As for scaffolding, I'd probably go with something like http://www.flattering.com/ Actually, I've been thinking of ordering from them anyhow to see if their bras fit well, since I've been needing a longline for a while. If I do, I'll definitely let you know how it fits!

Delster I'm a 34DD and I'll just wear whatever fits under the gown. With something that's backless though I'd get whatever support I could sewn into the dress and go braless.
40.gif
Which is not ideal, but having giant *ladies* isn't exactly ideal either. Support will be a consideration when I go wedding dress shopping, that's for sure.

Oh how I feel your pain. And I should add that I was a 32GG before-so I feel much more comfortable now going braless/strapless.

ETA: When I had MONDO ladies I bought everything from here: Bravissimo because it was supportive and cute-as well as being big enough. I could buy from there now (I think their smallest size is a 32D?) but being that I can buy bras at regular stores now, I don't. But they have great stuff! (And lucky you, you're already on that side of the pond!)

ETA: This thing looks fantastic!!!

I don''t have any particular dresses I want, but I do have a checklist that it needs to meet:

1. Be a sleek classic style (I am 5''11 so puffy dresses would look funny on me)

2. Have sleeves and be a style where I can wear a good comfortable bra. I am a 14D (not sure how to convert Aus sizes) and I hate adjusting my top at all. On my wedding day I want to be comfortable and not have to worry about showing a little more than I bargained for!

3. On that note I don''t want to be showing too much cleavage, it makes me uncomfortable

4. And finally I want it to have some kind of antique or couture look to set it aside from other dresses!

bobbin, I think that''s equivalent to a 36D over here, at least according to some random bra size calculator I found online.
