haha I like too many to have a favorite, and right now, I''m all about old cut colorless diamonds--which don''t count in a favorite colored stone thread.

But...

I''d really love a nice sapphire. Violetish blue--vivid saturation--medium tone--yep, ok, I really want one of those now.

Thanks for the link PR! I remember that stone now - I only saw the pic and had no idea it was a diamond - it''s such a bright pretty orange (I thought it was a spess). That''s what I get for still being a colored stone noob

you know I''d never seen spesses until PS, and I''m not a big fan of the color orange, but the ones I''ve seen here (on PS) are so flame-like and bright. They''re really intriguing me now!

I did see spess earrings a month or so ago at my jewelers and they were really pretty IRL too!

The sapphire will take a bit of time--has to be juuust right.
