It is internal medicine. She then hopes to specialize in hematolgy/oncology.

She wrote this in another thread:

"i'm doing internal medicine residency, then hoping to specialize in hematology/oncology. which is ANOTHER reason i want to stay in houston. baylor has a great heme/onc fellowship and of course, there's MD Anderson, can't beat that!!"

Having been through this with my brother, I know it''s a tremendous accomplishment. You worked very hard, and will work very hard for several years yet with little compensation (at least in dollars), but I''ll bet you''re going to be a terrific doctor. Good job Doc!

thank you thank you thank you all!! it''s so weird...i feel like i''ve been working toward this my whole life (one of those whose always known what she wanted to do) and now...i''ve done it! gotta set some new goals now i guess

thanks deb for answering all the questions! you are correct...i am doing my internship and residency at baylor college of medicine in houston in the internal medicine program...hopefully moving onto a fellowship in heme/onc once my 3 years are up.

I needed this link, Ginger! I miss out on most wedding photos because I don't read the right fora to see them, I think! You are absolutely incredibly beautiful. Your red gown with the white lace coat and your white gown and veil are both stunning. All that beauty and brains, too! Wow!
