fun with rings

I like so many, but I keep coming back to this one. I''d change it a bit though. I would like a really small micro pave band. I wouldn''t mind if the center stone was emerald cut. I''d take out the pink stones on the band.

Correction on my previous post. I take out those larger round stones on the band surrounded by rose gold. I think that would hurt my fingers.

btw... the ring is an ajaffe. They have more sparkly pics on the site but this is the picture that I fell in love with!

I think this is just gorgeous...basically it's boston_jeff's fiancee's ring (ETA: this one isn't his, but a slightly smaller version). It's classic and simple but still eye catching and all around beautiful. It's the ring I've always dreamed of.

I love this ring too. The double prongs are amazing and that stone is to die for. I think its my favorite stone overall. I would give up my choice for that ring too.

Mimzy, the rings that DMBsGirl posted are all cushions with micropave halos by Mark Turnowski. TOTALLY MY DREAM RING. I have my cushion, and now I just need the halo!

My second favorite ring is DEFINITELY boston jeff''s solitaire (posted above) It''s the wallpaper on my computer!

I will have one of those rings one day! It just depends on how sentimental I am when I can afford to change my current e-ring. If I feel a strong connection to the stone...(which I do, but it''s still new) then I may just put it in the micropave halo. If I have no qualms about trading in my current stone, then I will definitely be going all out boston jeff style with a 2ct cushion (old mine brilliant) and a ring designed by leon!

This future choice has been what is making it so HARD for me to pick out a wedding band! It needs to be able to go with both in case I change it!

Ever since we started looking at rings (about 2 and a half years ago!), I fell in love with a design like the one below. There are several vendors who sell similar styles, so I don''t know where the real deal may come from, if BF does get this style. Of course, I wouldn''t mind a huge beautiful asscher, but it''s way out of the budget!

Wow, that ring looks just like this WF custom ring (or I''m guessing it''s actually that the WF custom is based on the ajaffe?

Yep it''s really close to the ajaffe but it only has four prongs around the centre diamond whereas the ajaffe has eight. Gasp... and I always hated a lot of prongs around a diamond... but it''s so elegant... sigh
