Adding to this thread to see if anyone can clarify how the process works with Gabriel & Co settings. Was this stone likely dropped into a purchased setting, or did IDJ make an entirely custom setting around this specific stone based off of a Gabriel design?

Would love to hear from those who have worked with IDJ! TIA!

It's my understanding that Gabriel and Co has settings that fit certain sizes and they get it from them and put your stone in. IDJ will do custom pieces though.

Why don't you just call IDJ and get the facts on what they do instead of speculating?
Yekutiel will answer all your questions with no pressure to buy. Just ask him about the Gabriel & Company Setting you like and take it from there.

When I was in the store in the winter purchasing my round diamond for my pendant they had the exact setting there custom made for someone.
So I would just call and ask away!
