It took us a few weeks to find the perfect diamond, but almost 6 months to find the perfect setting!

Ok. So this one is a great shot of the flowers.. I think it's a pretty unflattering pic of my but you guys have to see those flowers!
The story:
Bf and I are in our church band on Sunday mornings. I sing, he plays guitar. As we were about to walk off stage, our pastor (who's known me since I was 4, and Jason for as long as we've been dating) pulled us aside and announced our engagement to the entire congregation!Normally, the parent of the fiance(e) will write it in a "praise report" and it's read to the congregation, but this is the first time I remember the couple actually being on the stage lol. It was so funny! Everyone gasped and started clapping and what not. Our band director (who is was also my vocal coach) LITERALLY jumped out of her seat and started crying lol. It was so neat to have everyone's support!

So anyway, after church a woman (whom we know pretty well) came up and grabbed a vase of flowers off of the offering table. She told me that they were their in honor of her and her husbands 30th anniversary which was Saturday (our church does that for milestones.. big anniversarys, births, deaths ect.). She gave them to me and said "may God bless you guys with 30 plus years! Congratulations!"

It was so sweet!

So that's the flower story.

It's funny because when i woke up this morning I was thinking "gosh! I don't have any flowers with which to take the obligatory flower shot!". Lol. now that's a ps nerd!
