Pandora, I know what you mean. Do the silhouettes look squished into the oval? I remember your silhouettes, they were great, I actually save them and showed them to the designer!! Which she ignored. hahaha
I was thinking grey wouldn''t work because we won''t be having grey anywhere else in the invite, but if the oval were all black, the font was black, and the pattern outside the oval were pink, it wouuld probably work well. They do really stand out in black. We''ll see what the designer comes up with on the second go.
I also ordered these pochettes (top left in blue) in black to hold the invite/reply card and envelope/direction card inside the envelope (envelope is off-white), so that would definitely be enough black, and might make the black silhouettes look less heavy. The invite will be glued inside the pochette. I''ll have to see how it looks when it''s all together, but the black of the pochette might also make the grey look really nice. I''ll definitely print them out and see how they look in the pochette before they are finalized.
