Its still not official so i dont wear my ring out in public.... its complicated....

My bf (oops fiance! still not used to it) and I were talking about marriage and stuff and he said that he needed to get me a ring. I was tired and a little grumpy so I said that i didnt want to discuss that right now. He then said..."what abt a piece of string?" i was getting irritated and said i didnt want a string either. At this point he started pulling out a string from his desk drawer and offering it to me. I kept saying no and he kept pulling the string and telling me to take it. I finally took it and suddenly realized what it was. I burst into tears - there was a shiny diamond engagement ring tied to the other end of the string.
