Robbie, I can''t even believe how amazing you look in your dress. WOW. But the OTT make-up is a little intense, lol. I say hire the MAC girl for your wedding, she''s awesome. (It was a girl, right? If not, hire the MAC boy!) I''m an admitted MAC addict, but it''s definitely for a reason. It almost never wears off.

Good Lord! The salon makeup is BEYOND bad. Really stinking awful! You should send the owner those pictures! They should know that they let people walk out like that. The crooked lipstick is laughable.

MAC makeup looks great, as well as everything else. Looking forward to seeing the wedding day pics!

Hehe luckystar, I think pornstar bride is being nice. I think I looked more like drunk transvestite bride

. I called and cancelled yesterday for all of us since I made all of the appointments myself. At least it''s not the same person doing my hair. That would''ve been really awkward.

Travelingal, the owner probably should know how bad it was, but I don''t want to get the girl in trouble. I don''t think she was trying to do a bad job. I''d hate to be the reason she lost her job or something.

Wow - night and day! The salon make-up is garish and clowny and the MAC make-up is soft and appealing. The colours are so much more attractive. What was she thinking? It would be good if you could find a nice way to let her or the salon owner know.. They are going to turn off a lot of people with make-up like that.

I just went on the MAC site to see which full lashes were the most like the half lashes they put on me and they don''t have them online anymore so I freaked out and called the closest MAC counter and they told me that they''re repackaging all their lashes and coming out with new ones so they won''t get anymore shipments in until 9/22! This counter still has a bunch though so I''m going tonight to have them help me pick out lashes to bring with me because the counter in Pittsburgh was out of almost everything.

Whew. That was a close one.

If anyone else is planning on using MAC lashes between now and 9/22 you might want to buy yours now too.
