So I can''t figure out how I should get my hair done on my wedding day. I have completely straight, very fine hair. It''s thicker than it seems for being so fine, and it''s down to several inches past my shoulders. It''s brown (on the darker side of brown) if it makes a difference, and I have no highlights.

I would love any help from wedding hairstyle gurus! I''m thinking something bun-like sort of at the crown of my head but I don''t know what that something should be! I do have a plain veil that I was planning on wearing in front of the bun part, at least for the ceremony. I liked it at the top of my head-it seemed more fun that way!

I''ll post pics of me and my dress and veil in a sec. Oh! And my earrings-they''re dangly. And thank you in advance for any and all help and ideas!

So you want it up?

I think something fun. Have you thought about putting flowers or anything in it?

I was thinking up, but I am definitely open to any and all suggestions! The problem with wearing it down is that I don''t think it would look fancy enough straight, and it really doesn''t hold a curl, and curls aren''t really my style, either...okay, so I guess I do want it up! And I haven''t thought about flowers or anything fun to be honest! I would love all the ideas you can throw at me!

Full length dress, finally! (I was too lazy to resize so I had to find my dress thread and take the pics from there!)

Oh how I love your dress. I''m going to go look for hair inspiration. I''ll be back.

(This is good, because I need to look for hairdos for me too...)

Do you have any pics of your hair down so we can get an idea of the length?

I found one....

Ahhh.. I hate how I can't quote pics!!!

I love picture 2 and 3 that Freke posted- they are elegant and classic which I think ties in with your dress very nicely

OT: Thing, what is in your avatar? I have tried to figure it out many times but I still have no idea!!!

I think it''s her kitty? Hanging from a door I think?

I really love your dress and I think it is (can''t think of the right word - bear with me please) such a statement/involved/understated/beautiful/classic/elegant with a modern twist - in such a beautiful way that a simple bun like you have in the first pic sets it off so beautifully - you have lovely striking features that I don''t think (personally) you need anything else.

I really like the second and third pic that Miss Freke posted as well.

I hope that made some semblance of sense.

Ooooh thanks Freke! I fell asleep early last night so I couldn''t answer you, but let me go find a pic of my hair down!

I can''t quote pics either! So annoying! Thank you for your vote!

And Freke is right-it''s my kitty hanging from my balcony door. She climbed the screen door and then leapt over to the door and was hanging there. (She is a ninja.)

Aw thanks Dee! So more votes for 2 and 3!

Okay I can''t find any good pics of my hair length, but it would hit at the top of the dress, maybe a little longer. So...about boob length!

Okay, so would something like this be too much? I kind of like the higher hairstyles too...

And I don''t have a close up, but this looks similar to some of the ones you posted Freke, but maybe a little higher on the head? What do you think?

Thing2, your dress has such a Audrey Hepburn vibe to me that I think a high updo, as you suggested, would be fabulous. Here are some other options for you.

I like this one but without the tiara.

I actually like this one but would wear the bun just a tad lower on the head. Also, keep in mind that depending on your hair, the bun might not look as ''full'' on you.

This was the dress I was thinking of when I saw your dress. (Hope you don''t mind me posting...)

Here''s the Audrey ''do I was thinking of but without the bangs (and a little less height....).

I really like this one too.
