I've been wanting a necklace of sorts for quite a while. I wanted a genuine antique with "fancy filigree links", which is really difficult to find, as I was picky about the shape of the links and the filigree inside. My Dream necklace is $45k on 1st dibs!

I saw one on Etsy a few months ago and contacted the vendor. That necklace was still over budget, but she kindly agreed to keep her eyes open for me. She contacted me a few days ago with this one, which is exactly what I wanted!

Platinum, 16.5 inches, original invisible clasp, 12 small bezeled dbty stones for a total estimated carat weight of .30.

My hubby very graciously agreed to the purchase, as I had not planned any additional bling in 2017/18 because Bertie was quite the investment, but I just couldn't pass this up!

How pretty & different! And it's a perfect length too!
Thanks @Alex T! I may see about adding some kind of extender so it could adjust to 20 inches, which would give me lots of versatility....

Thanks @mrs-b! It is substantial and holds its own without needing one huge solitaire to make a statement (not that I won't consider adding a bezeled 7mm stone at some point in the future )...

@yennyfire It’s so pretty and suits you well! Subtle and interesting and complements all your other pieces. Congratulations!!

So pretty! The length is perfect.
It will go with every neckline. Love it!

Thanks @stracci2000! My hope is that it will go with everything!

I've never seen anything like it. I love it! :appl:

Thanks @derbygal! These type of necklaces seemed to be popular during the Edwardian period...

Beautiful Yennyfire! I've seen some really lovely yellow gold ones but they were way to long for me...I really like the wearable length of that one.
