LOL!!! Wots diffrunt with German Chocolate as a pose to normal chocolate cake?

The cake is (usually) a lighter chocolate, 3 layers, with a wonderful buttery icing that has coconut and toasted pecans in it.

I shall post a pic for ya. (this isn't mine though)

7's, I have an uncanny ability to control myself. I'm sure part of it comes from raising 3 boys.

You are right, it does take a fair amount of self control to raise 3 boys, but I have learned to hide my treats if I want any!

Ok, this is just too freaky. When I was living at home, my mom had this one xmas album that she played all the time. It was really different, and I loved it. I often thought of it at xmas time over the years, and wished I knew who it was by. I never asked my mom though, I figured she wouldn't remember, as she hasn't had a turn table since we left that house when I was 17. (and her memory is failing)

I was at the health food store the other day, and a xmas song you don't hear very often was playing, and I remarked on that fact. That got us to talking about different xmas music, and I told them how my mom had this one album that was so different and how much I liked it, and that I had never heard any of the songs on it played over the years. Now, that was the first time I ever said anything out loud about that album.

So, mom drops off my presents today. I opened one up, and it was a CD, by a group I'd never heard of. So I turned it over and started reading the songs. It's the album I was talking about in the health food store.

She of course had no idea I said that, and why of all things she picked that, neither of us know. Isn't life funny sometimes.
