As for any sparkly gifts, of course I haven''t gotten any presents yet, that will be later on tonight, but I seriously doubt it. Hubby knows I know better on such things, so if he had wanted to get me something, I would have had to pick it out.

And I wasn''t asked to.

But really, I wasn''t expecting any, anyway. No biggie.

However, the poor man did try to grant my one request. I said the other day, off handedly, that I just wanted a really good German Chocolate cake for my bday. That''s my favorite kind, but he has never gotten me one, mainly because store bought aren''t that good, and he can''t bake.

So, I noticed a mysterious phone call being made while we were out shopping the other day, but of course let it go. Yesterday he and my son come home, and hubby says, go see what I got you. (I think he was so proud of what he''d done, he couldn''t wait, lol).

So I go out in the kitchen to find a cake box sitting there, and upon opening it, find a real home made GC cake! He had ordered it from a resturant known for making homemade cakes and pies. He then said, it better be the best you ever tasted, for the price. $28.00 bucks, for a regular size cake?

I told him for that, I''ll bake the next one.

But he tried, and that''s what counts. I''m dying to dig into it, but must refrain for now....

Anywho, thank you all again, you''ve made my day!
