This is the stone with the proportions I posted yesterday. I have it on hold and have to decide later today. Thoughts are most welcome. Also, trying to decide on 6 prong setting. I currently have the legato sleek. I really love the Jovyn setting that @msop04 has. Don’t know if I want to go through having the setting shipped to them or have stone shipped to her. Sounds too complicated. I’m hoping to just ding something similar at WF. I saw someone’s post with the Valoria setting and it looks great. The website pics don’t look that great. I just don’t want the prongs to be monstrous. I prefer delicate smaller prongs.

Thanks so much!!

Gorgeous stone!!!! I love it

Beautiful stone!. I'll take it!

Why is it so cheap?! No brainer. Get it.

That looks like a winner for sure! Great find!

Beautiful stone! I love that Valoria setting. This one right?

Ask them if they can do it with small claw prongs. Their claw prongs are not real pointy though if that's what you like.

I thought the same thing. Maybe it is a low H? Get some pics before deciding.

Thanks. I’m waiting for photos but I was told it’s a beautiful bright H. I did ask about the price and I was told that it may have to do with difference in manufacturing cost?

Yes! The photos on the website aren’t that great. I saw someone post theirs here on PS and looks much nicer. If anyone has more photos of different angles of this setting, I would love to see it. Thanks.

Cool! Grab it! What a find

I asked my SA the same question and she said likely a manufacturing cost.
Not to take away excitement, I would definitely ask for a comparison video with another H and I color diamonds.
The SA's answer is not definitive.
This is unusually cheap (priced at Premium Select or even Virtual Inventory Level). Never seen this before.

Here are the pics sent to me. The smaller one is very slightly smaller than my current stone. I’m told it’s definitely not a low H but rather a mid to high H. I’ve worked with her with several upgrades so I have confidence in her. I hope this one works out. What do you all think?

At first I was wondering about the price. But actually the best advice I can ever give is to take diamondseeker opinion to heart. Her advice is ALWAYS golden.

That is so sweet of you to say that! Thank you! I try to be honest above all else.

Thank you so much, @diamondseeker2006 ! What do you think of the Valoria setting? Pics in the website don’t look as good as the one I saw from another PS member.

It might help me to see a picture of a larger diamond set in it. Do you have that picture saved?

Recenly graded, VS1, High H color, ACA, unreal price...
I cannot find any flaw. Go for it. Great find.

That is likely a high H. You should definitely get this stone! WF does not price their stones by high or low of a particular color. It depends on the market when the stone is acquired. Once a stone is priced, I've not seen cases where they adjust the price up when the market goes up. A few months back there were some ridiculously good deals!

@Dmndsr4evr11 :wavey: I love the setting. It’s very light though so if you want a heavier setting I would go with platinum. I purchased it in 14k white gold because it’s a temporary setting. When I do my upgrade I will miss it. I plan on resetting my new upgraded diamond in a setting with tapered baguettes that I already have set with a different diamond. I was so surprised how much I loved the Valoria...The Valoria setting makes the diamond stand out because it’s not overpowering. It’s a beautiful setting. I love the way it curves slightly around my diamond. The prongs are small. They did a very nice job on them.

Thanks, @CareBear! I’ve been checking and I lost out on one already. It was bought over the weekend when I was still in the process of deciding but I think this is a better stone. I put a deposit! I need to decide on a setting though.
Also, the process is much slower now since my last upgrade as they apparently have to send the stone back to AGS for confirmation. They didn’t use to do that. They just check that the stone is valid which takes a day or two then they send you tour new stone. Now they have to wait for AGS and it may take 2 weeks. Ughh!! It will be painful to wait.
