Help Needed---can it be done? Sapphire e-ring in a few weeks?

update:
My bro called this afternoon--- to cancel--

he went to the jeweler to get the money back-- and instead-- they had the ring done

he decided to just go with it

I was sooo looking forward to spending some time with hm and bonding a little.. and helping him find something nice for my future SIL.

I was Bummed
He is stopping by tomorrow and I''m going to to get some pics of it --i will post them after.

here is some closure for those of you who might have wondered what happened.


myBro ended up with this: .75 blue sapphire.. plat setting--- done by his local (slow poke) jeweler

the outcome is feels real nice on--- it has a nice weight and is nice and smooth.

What a relief to see that the ring isn''t a disaster as I thought it might be. The setting is fluid and the colour of the sapphire is not too bad either.
