He he - yeah, hubby can be pretty inventive when he wants to be - he does have a PhD in Nuclear Physics, so I guess those brain cells get used every now and then....
Oh TWIST my arm to take more pics - I ............ just ............... don''t....... know ... if ...I... can ... do.... that.......
ECF, I'm so happy your hubby retrieved it! Thank goodness! I know photographing our pretties has it's risks. I can't believe those stairs swallowed up your ring! When I pull my loose stone out to look at it, it's fallen on the bed before just inbetween the some wrinkled blankets. But when it's out of sight, it's panic! So I hope you can take some safe diamond pics again soon!
Aw shucks, everybody - embarassing hubby like this.......
We''re just so glad we didn''t have to pay a lot of money to have someone else get it out! The hole in the cement can be patched easily by us, plus it''s on the non-visible from the street side of the house, and when the bushes aren''t smushed out of the way it''ll be pretty well covered!
I took a few more pics today - (no, I didn''t lose it again!) - hope you like ''em!
Hey Sunkist! I just got this camera (it''s a Canon PowerShot A620 - my old one was a 3MP Sony from 3 years ago). I''m still getting familiar with it - but your pics are GORGEOUS! Would you mind sharing some photo tips???????
Good grief that''s a GAWGEOUS ring!!!!!! Could it BE any icier? Could that setting possibly be more fluid or unique? WOW!
Your future children (should you have any) are going to be scary smart....Mom''s a vet, Dad''s a nuclear physicist. Thanks to them in advance for ruining the curve for MY kids!!! LOL.
Thanks Kristy! It is a nice little rock (I say little compared to yours!) - but for what we could afford for the upgrade, it''s pretty schweet, I have to say!
We have a daughter who will be 3 this summer, and she''s already shown her intellectual slant, but you should see her run! It''s humorous - just goes to show ya that every child develops differently and has their own strengths and weaknesses. We are expecting our son this fall, and as with the first pregnancy I''ve developed the "dropsies" (which is common, if you believe what you read!) - I really have to pay attention to what I am doing or things just fall out of my hands all the time! Thanks goodness for the wrist strap on the camera.................
Congrats on your upcoming birth! I have a girl and a boy too.
My son will be 3 on June 20 and my daughter is 16 months. They are a handful I tell ya, but so much fun! Hope the rest of your pregnancy is smooth, easy, and dropsie-free!
